concannon (Mar 26, 2004)
Aw, he's so adorable. I like the background, and his nose. This'd be even nicer if you cleaned up your lineart....*hint hint*>___>
bumpinthenight (Mar 26, 2004)
very shweet... He looks so... VULNERABLE!!! AHAAHH... MUST ABUSE!!!! [pardon the wierdness of the right half of sabres brain... in case you were wondering, I am the more logical, intelligent part of sabres brain... she is quite the odd one, isnt she?] aww shaddup, you stupid left hemisphere you!!! DinoFlorist (Mar 26, 2004)
yeah that is good. But the lines do detract. Maybe just go over it with something thicker, or blend them in

davincipoppalag (Jun 16, 2004)
This is quite good.. did you notice Zack.. the robot's eyes have more life than the human..very good work
DinoFlorist (Jun 16, 2004)
great job. I like robots too, and I wanted to be like your last robot becsaue he seemed free from worry. Free from a job, free from disease, free from responsibility. But this robot's lilfe sucks. It makes me realize how lucky I am to be human!
Supergurl103 (Jun 18, 2004)
this is great, ark, good job, the skin on the human looks so robotic lol
purple_Llama (Jun 21, 2004)

From Inklink last night. Brnies came up with the idea, and then I flogged it to death as I used it for every draw hence.
fleeting_memory (Jun 8, 2004)
you play inklink?! you rock! I love that game-then it gets funny when you've been in there so long that you know all the words so people think you're cheating but you're not...yeah...
DinoFlorist (edited Jun 9, 2004)
Yeah, I do play inklink! I have to credit inklink for pretty much everything I've ever done on the internet. The only new people I've really met were on there, and Icats was the one to send me here. Then I kept telling people about it, and got DBA here and I bet she brought some. And I mean, there is this whole family tree thing of how everyone got here, and I know a part, but it's too large to discuss here. Needless to say, Inklink was instrumental in that part.

Zack (Jun 17, 2004)
lol this is crazy. you rock.
davincipoppalag (Jun 18, 2004)
Do his parents know he's ...binary? Omg.. Methinks mizz Kasha has been suffering from "omg what to draw next" and is now breaking out of it.. and I stand and applaud...
Kasha (Jun 18, 2004)
haha, I wasn't suffering..okay, yes I was. hey, but you liked it!! that's all that counts. |

Oh if only i were worthy of grander picture sizes...lol...I'm particularly proud of the tree trunks, but i think....
emmamommalag (Jun 13, 2004)
Yes, those tree trunks are awesome. I like the sky and the rest of it, too.
davincipoppalag (Jun 14, 2004)
Yea good job on the birchbark!
DinoFlorist (Jun 14, 2004)
THis one is excellent. You have done a couple really awesome trees, but this one I would also like to hang up in a gallery.

Ahh, he got the message and took the doggy out for his walk.
DinoFlorist (Jun 18, 2004)
I thought that the picture was much more interesting with the dog yelling at him. I mean, it's still good, but it was even better before. I can't see why you didn't like it! It was very creative and funny. |

I don't know why I drew him. I don't even know how i can remember him since he never plays. Maybe I am still in awe of the fact that the Pistons took him in front of Carmelo Anthony. I guess it worked out for them though.
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Jun 17, 2004)
Eleven minutes? I am just amazed at how quickly you do such great pictures. It takes me more than eleven minutes just to figure out what planet I'm on and what language to draw in. lol
davincipoppalag (Jun 18, 2004)
Yea Dino..you work fast. You captured that "eastern european look" .
DinoFlorist (Jun 18, 2004)
Well 11 minutes has always been my magic number. This is the first time I've really utilized layers, and it really helped. |

Originally inspired by the song Yuki Satellites by Radix. The song is legally free to download, so check it out.edit: I feel like starting another drawing but don't have space in my studio, so out this goes. If youse peoples like it enough I'll bother myself with working on it some more.
DinoFlorist (Jun 17, 2004)
if you like boys and robots, you should watch The Iron Giant. Now, I care little for that boy, but that robot is the best ever! He is like the epitomy of robots.
Zack (Jun 17, 2004)
Yeh, that's one of my favorite movies, not only for the storytelling, but also the animation... the animation is fantastic.
davincipoppalag (Jun 18, 2004)
This can be cool if you zackyize it and finish! I've seen some of the Iron Giant and I agree , it's very good animation.
jord (Jun 18, 2004)
oohh... this is great... and it does indeed evoke the atmosphere of the iron giant*i want a robot* |

nah, just kidding. i like the shading under his chin, and the eyes are pretty nifty. you might want to put some shading/wrinkles on the shirt, and maybe a more involved background. not bad though. great lineart on the head especially. really looking forward to the finished product.
