From Inklink last night. Brnies came up with the idea, and then I flogged it to death as I used it for every draw hence.
fleeting_memory (Jun 8, 2004)
you play inklink?! you rock! I love that game-then it gets funny when you've been in there so long that you know all the words so people think you're cheating but you're not...yeah...
DinoFlorist (edited Jun 9, 2004)
Yeah, I do play inklink! I have to credit inklink for pretty much everything I've ever done on the internet. The only new people I've really met were on there, and Icats was the one to send me here. Then I kept telling people about it, and got DBA here and I bet she brought some. And I mean, there is this whole family tree thing of how everyone got here, and I know a part, but it's too large to discuss here. Needless to say, Inklink was instrumental in that part.

"The main purpose of government is self preservation."-STEAL THIS COMPUTER BOOK- "Knowledge is power." -SESAME STREET- "Governments-like schools, corporations, and churches- require the support of their members to succeed, and the better they can control their members, the stronger their grip." "Government intelligence agencies have three purposes: To spy on other countries, to counter terrorists, and to prevent domestic disturbances that could turn out badly for the ruling party. More frequently, however, intellegence agencies are being used for a fourth purpose: to spy for the benefit of their country's corporations." -STEAL THIS COMPUTER BOOK-
DinoFlorist (Jun 6, 2004)
THat's right, and spywares are all a part of it. I find it strange that the government has taken upon itself to create anti e-mail spam laws (which are very ineffective) and with the exception of a few states, have ignored the greater evil. Computers loading software and tracking devices onto your personal property is a huge infringement on privacy. I hate spywares.

Oh, I see... He is imaginary... And his initials are the same as the initials of United States as I just read somewhere! It must be like the Oscar story, where you expect someone to tell you a big impressive story about the origin of the name and they only tell you that "the statue looked like someone's uncle Oscar". >:)Now I have fantasies of Uncle Sam hentai... >;D I wonder if Uncle Sam is the same guy in the game "Sam says" where you have to do what they tell you as long as they say "Sam says" >:) |XOD|
davincipoppalag (Jun 7, 2004)
Uncle Sam is a representation of the 5 or 6 rich fellas who really run everything. They gave us Twinkies and Mountain Dew, and Pizza and Rootbeer to lull us into a sense of security. But beware, I understand they are about to foist off Tofu as the new beef... ( I just made a reservation to move to Canada).;. Good draw Axil..it looks just like one of "theirs"

I swear!
DinoFlorist (Jun 5, 2004)
Yeah, doves might be evil. These (what i drew) are kind of just generic "birds." But the actual event that took place was on a busy street with geese. It was morning, still kind of dark, and it wasn't me that hit it. But all the cars had to stop because of the other geese that were mourning it. It was the one of the saddest things I've ever seen, and if I had more skill, I would try to portray it more accurately. But, I just wanted to get the feeling that I had out there, I'm not sure if it succeeds or not, but two people said sad and one said "hahah! good! doves are evil! (paraphrasing :) )"
davincipoppalag (Jun 5, 2004)
Isn't that something how geese do that... there are lots of Canada Geese in the parks up here..now and again someone hits one as it crosses the road.. and the others actually do come to investigate and then to stand around the dead one squawking..like they are mourning.. this is a good sketch Dino..sad..but good
bumpinthenight (Jun 5, 2004)
mah gawd this is sad!!! Poor duckies!
Aubrey (Jun 5, 2004)
That is so sad... here cars do anything possible not to hit a duck or goose.. Traffic stops on the busiest highways forever til the ducks waddle across safely. Just something about them. They're just so cute and innocent.. ya look at them and just wanna smile. |

Eh.. I haven't been on 2draw for a while now, but I've been browsing through all of the boards, and.. It seems that the intermediate board is turning into a beginners board. Not only that, but the Advanced is moving on towards Intermediate. O_o We have seperate categories for a reason. I'm sure the mods (or some of them at least) know what I'm talking about. It doesn't hurt to move a few drawings around and tell people that they need more practice. Maybe we should make a test-drawing board? F...

DinoFlorist (Jun 6, 2004)
Hm? I never saw this one before. And you never even told me about it. Shame on you, shame! Becasue you know how overjoyed I am to see old history book style paintings. This is what I wish to paint in real life, you know. And you can do it. >:( I mean, thats great that you can, but I still have to get over my customary jealous rage. |
