She walked into her room and sat on her bed with a sigh and started to draw. Suddenly, she heard static. Instinct told her to look towards the TV... but nothing was there, not even a snowy screen. She began to panic, because the static kept getting louder and louder until it was too loud to bear. And just when she thought she would break down and scream and cry......it all stopped. She lay in her bed, curled up on her side while taking deep breaths. What was that all about? Where did the noise come from? And as she was about to dismiss it as imagination... "Hi." She instantly looked up at the sound of the sweet, child-like voice. Her eyes landed upon the television in the corner, and she screamed... (Sorry for the long description... and yes, this WAS my nightmare.)

It reminds me of "The Grudge," where the woman is scared to death being by herself, so she runs to her bedroom and turns on the TV to comfort herself. After turning on the TV, what comes on is like a regular show with some woman looking straight forward talking when all of a sudden, the TV goes bad and twists this woman's face into a pretty creepy looking face and gets stuck that way. That was probably the only scary part of that movie though :P.
