working on some thing to hang in my room liking how its going so far. i am open to ideas on all pics since they will make it to the real world soon and it will be noted who gave what ideas and sujestions that were used. thanks....... thanks for all the really good i deas every one. i think its done but still feel free to make sujestions i like all of the input. great stuffany idaeas for a symbole to go on it like clk recomends?

I think the point may have been that it may be intermediate in skill level, since we can see that you understand how to draw and that you can draw, but it just doesn't look like it's finished. Maybe darkening some of the lines would help? |

Nice Axil, I looked at this b/f I took my lunch break and I couldn't figure it out what it was. I must have needed brain food b/c it is very obvious to me now. I like the clayish look that it has : ]

This is beautiful. It almost looks malleable, like clay or something. I want to reach in and smooth it out with my fingers as though it were finger paint. |

More studies. I'm not really sure where I'm headed with this one. It would be nice to learn composition so that my other pictures don't look so. . . random. Ah, well.I'll try and finish up later but right now I think I'll give my mouse a rest.

I really liked the sketchy feel of the eye in comparison to the face. The combo gives the whole thing an almost collage-like feel. Very well done. I watched the animation--really envy your even and steady strokes!Hmmm. . . I think this is as far as I'm taking this. I cheated and zoomed in on the small figure. <__< t's a lot easier to control the mouse when you have a bigger space to do it in. I need a wacom tablet, but, alas, I also need to eat and I don't really have an income to speak of so buying a tablet is more of a pipe dream than a goal I'm acyually working toward. Unless of course someone here just happens to not want theirs and would like to donate the tablet to me. . . I can dream, right?
By the by, can anyone tell me how to use the layers? They seem very useful. . . I just have not yet figured out how they are useful. . . Yeah, I'm slow like that. ^___^

You consider that cheating? That's just using the tools available that's all..As for layers, I'm not sure if you had seen the 'layers' button at the bottom of the tool bar..from here once clicked you can choose what layer, add or delete layers and shift or merge them. How they would've been useful in this image: If you had drawn the profile on 'layer 1' and then did the background on 'layer 0' you could’ve erased the background inside the profile so the edges are right on with the lines without erasing the profile..that's one example. Nice studies.

i went back to fix one thing that was bugging me and i messed up the pic so look at v1 that is the final. to redpanda i was not blaming the mouse since its the only thing i had to work with. i do every thing on paper first so i have a sketch to work from. i just wanted to note that it could have been better if i had my stylest pad. i like all of my pics that i have done and i have only used a mouse so far. thanks or your insight in i look forward to more feed back from you on other projects ck

i think mice are fun to use :D i draw with both, tablet and mouse its easy either way really..since i cant fix the old one i changed what was left to this i think this is diffrent and i am changing the name of it to something else any ideas
so far all i ave used is a mouse clk it chalenges you more. so far i have 2 of every pic one posted here and one on paper. the paper sketches look so much better. this is the only verion that does not have a paper pic to go with it.version one does. i like how this came out with out a base pic though |

Okay, so I'm sure as some of you already know, there is this insanely talented 10-year old girl who's shown up on some TV shows, as I have seen, but I was talking to Wasil on AIM and she gave me a link to her gallery.So anyway, if anyone is interested in checking out her work, here it is........(Caution:You may want to quit drawing entirely after seeing this.....just a warning)

Eekks! I can't beleive it took so long for me to draw this pic!! Umm... Well I tried to draw the Ariel from the Little Mermaid, but it doesn't really look like her at all... Anyways, I did't feel like coloring this so would anyone like to...?
