DeadlyBlondeArcher (Jan 23, 2006)
He got bad, and she got mad, he lowered one more time
And she got even
No one heard a single word and as the clock ticked from next door
I could hear her breathing

And I said good morning Mrs. Sumner I would like you to meet my friend Mr. Jones
He has a house made out of butterflies
I can't sleep sometimes but I've been told
It's a lonely condition called growing old
Let me stumble sometimes

I'm looking for a soul to cling to
Girl what you think about that

This time, well it all comes down
To loss and strain and butterflies
Then it comes right down to me

Hello have you been alright
Did you find a piece of something wrapped around the light side of your life
To make you feel better
Did you get out with your sanity
Did you save a little something for the people in need
And did you know with the rain in your pockets
You can change the weather

Is it just the total for the wages of our sins
And have you made yourself a victim
In a game that you can't win
And are we caving in
And does it all depend on loss and strain and butterflies
And does it come right down to me anymore
This time
Does it all come down
To loss and strain and butterflies

I always respect and consider Gigandas' opinion and criticism, (along with that of most others) because he knows what he's talking about. I didn't say I was going to ignore everyone's opinion, just yours. You are still stupid.

Trying something different. This is the first time I've used a mouse pen, it takes alittle getting used to.

Started out rolling my own ...something that came in a blue can, even Bull Durham when I was broke. Then Camel straights, then Marlboros, then Winstons and Camel Filters and finally Export A's. The last time I took a break from smoking was five and half years ago. I'll never say I quit. I still consider buying a pack now and then. How can y'all afford it any more anyway? They're 8 bucks a pack here. I remember being pissed off when the price in machines went up to 50 cents. ha. If wages had kept pace with the cost of smoking, I'd be making $80 an hour now. I think it's cheaper to be a heroine addict, isn't it? (sorry. I know this is forum fodder. 'pologies, Sythe.)
SYTHE (Jan 28, 2006)
Hey T, that's one of the most interesting stories I've heard all day. I've rolled my own, smoked pipes and even used dip. Did you know that they even have Marlboro in Iraq? They taste like sawdust over there but hey, when you need a smoke you'll settle for anything. I've replaced my nicotine habit with caffeine, now I'm up to a pack of Cola a day (just kidding).
mikron (Jan 28, 2006)
WOW ! The dark side is magnificent ! (I wasn't referring to the pic.. I was referring to Star Wars ... (kidding acourse ;)).
SYTHE (Jan 28, 2006)
The Dark Side gets all the best powers, why would anyone want to be a Jedi anyway. Incidentally, I pronouce my username like Sith also. :)

This was one of those times when you are on the fence about whether or not you really feel like drawing, then you do.

he was probably right. this picture is monochrome, after all, so it's not a good example. but I think it's safe to say that once someone is good, 'rules' aren't as important.
Sweetcell (Jan 27, 2006)
It's so simple, so loose, yet there's the true touch of realism, as much like impressionism. I'm getting to be a fan.

Thanks. I have my pressure sensitivity set to one notch below the highest pressure setting, but I guess that's just a personal preference, maybe I'm a little heavy handed and just need it that way.

Tonight we have a succulent center cut prime envy covered in a light jealousy sauce served with a glass of our finest imported inspiration.

the face is madd. i just like the general softness of this :) +10000

It's so effective to leave the hair and dress less detailed. One of my favourite painting styles--a mixture of impressionism and realism. When it works, as this does, I think there is no painting style more beautiful. Looking at these purples and orange/golds together is a sensory treat.

oooO! oooO! Okay. Now do Leonid Breshnev's eyebrows. Pleeeeeaaaaaasssse? I just hope I live long enough to say to people "I knew her when she used to post her work on the Internet. No. Really. She did. Wait a second. I've still got some in a file here somewhere..."

I went through the animation a bunch of times, and then I tried to replicate it myself. Haha - like that worked. >.>
