These are the two main characters in my comic-in-progress, Yellow Submarine. The girl is Kim, a college student and artist, and the guy is her boyfriend Mark, also in college and majoring in technology. I got mad at the coloring, so I just shaded it, which, seeing as the comic is b&w, makes sense. And yes, they have no noses. I don't do noses.

I'm a rabid Beatles fan. The comic is kinda crazy, as is that song. In a way. And I had to pick a Beatle-y name cos the main character's pet ferret is named Ringo. He's Ringo the Mad Ferret. Not that Ringo Starr is mad, Ringo's just such a cool name. |

i wanted to add a background but i couldn't make one in a seperate layer and let the main drawing come to stand before it...helphmm, so i tried...but the background is still visible through the hair....blah...too complicated

Awesome hair.If you create a seperate layer for the background, you can erase whatever accidently goes over the picture on that layer, so it won't erase any bits of your picture. If that made any sense at all. :p Are you new? Welcome to 2draw.

i don't know...i wanted to add this background-layer which i made very dark, but then the whole picture got misty...(that fase doesn't apear in the animation...dunno why)but i probably messed to much with the layer-thing so ill see next time...thanks i'm new but i already saw i friend of mine drawing with these tools, so it's not totally new

To give your pic a background, copy the layer with the drawing. Then make the top layer invisible (click the eye next to the layer) and erase everything on the bottom layer. Make the top layer visible again, and you can use the blank layer for your background.Oh, btw, awesome pic! |

She and her friends got bored at recess, so they graffiti'd the blackboard. Hee hee :POh, and there's a story behind the I+G=*heart*, if you would like to hear it. It's rather sweet, actually.

Okay sorry rougefrequency, got kicked off internet for 3 hours to do homework. Bleah.Anyway, the story is kinda short but 'tis v. sweet (methinks): This kid I know, Ian, has liked this girl, Gail, since fourth grade, but he never had the courage to ask her out. Today in PE we were doing this stupid 50's dance where the guys have to dance w/ the girls *bleah*, and Ian picked Gail (it was "guy's choice"). Then when they were dancing he asked her out (I was dancing near them and when he asked her he went RED RED), and she said yes. It was so sweet methinks, but I'm too sentimental I know.

interesting drawing and story, but there are some improvements that could be made.... the nose should be more to the center of the face and lower, more center meaning that it has to be farther left for the 3/4 view... the shine on the hair should be more realistic and blurred into the black part of the hair, and the actual hair should have more individual parts to it than being just one block on a persons head. you dont see that in real life, so that aint too realistic.... the mouth should be turned a tad bit upwards, the face shape augmented a tad bit, and some more shading done to the actual skin.anyhow, good job.... |
