I don't think it's so bad for the first post... I mean, it could be a lot more worse, right?

Maybe you should've drawn something smaller? Now the whole picture looks so dark what with the very dark background. (uhh.) You've started shading her dress, but what happened with the rest of the body?

You know, they should really call that soap, "The Days of Other People's Lives."
Maybe because it's not actually our lives that we are always wondering what will happen next, in.
Anyhow... Perhaps a but of shading could make it a bit more finished, but I don't know.

not done but me and my boyfriend made one the other day that looked like this-he has a tablet so it was better but im going to get one soon and im so happy! i love you baby boy!

A...tablet...doesn't make anyone better. It just quickens the drawing time, mainly for lineart...
You are going to shade this after, right? Shading makes the World nicer. >_>

im not stupid i know a tablet wont make me better i just find it so much easier to use than a mouse...i guess ill shade it...i need to think...thanks though about my fishies

You seem to have your own style for drawing people. It's interesting, it is. (In a good way, of course!)
This looks like it was drawn with a Pen (the actual writing tool of old, not OSP's Pen Tool.) which makes it a bit more rustic-y.
As for a background, scenery is always nice. Mostly... Perhaps this elf is in a cavern? Err... Maybe.
Anyhow, it's pretty nice. Again, your style for people is a nice change.

as i grew up, i was asked lots of questions.
"pee? WTF?"
when i turned agnostic, the questions mutated.
"is there even a god to pee down the rain?"

When i was in catholic daycare/school the nuns told me when it rained Mary was crying, my dad told me God was taking a piss.
Needless to say, when i was four and five i didnt go out in the rain much.

It didn't actually take so long. I was trying to hold up aim convos while drawing (not a smart thing to go). Well, I'm back! It's only been, what, a month or two? ^^;; Okay, well, this is my friend's original character Kane. Isn't he so pretty? Yes, well, I like how the hair came out on this one. And eyes. I'm aware that I need to fix the left eye. I didn't notice it till the pic was to complete to fix >< So I'm going to leave it be. Thus, my picture. Voila.

yeah he could use some color in his eyes and his skill gets kinda cut off topleft. but other than that youre good.
