who very good, at first glance I couldn't tell if it was a boy or girl, but after seeing that she had a chest it was pretty obvious, lol. Awesome job on coloring and shading.

Anyway. My first post here, really i just wanted to test out Shi-Painter ;D and also tried cell shading for the first time... came out ok, i guess, though i dont really like the hair...

This is Shay. She is the leader of our group of mutants. She's short, spunky, and Irish. Her powers are the ability to freeze people and objects as though frozen in time, but not for very long, especially if there's resistance. Also she has presicion, which she uses directly with her throwing knives, rarely missing a target. And finally she has agility, where she can do super nifty flips and jumps and the like.

I never really used tones seriously before. I never really needed too. I like her hair but I need to get better at pulling the piece together with the lines and background.

Oooh,tones! Very nicely done and pretty.I find tone shading to be one of the most difficult things to do on oekakis,but you seem to have it down pat.The hea dlooks a bit off center,I would suggest you draw a thicker neck at angles like these,because it look strange.Big head,tiny neck.

This is an original character from an X-men fanfic me and my roomie are currently in the process of creating/writing. This is my first time really using Lascaux, and....I don't know if I like it! I understand that it's powerful and everything, but I wish there was an essay on how to use it somewhere.

Nice picture Childlike_Vampire, I like the hair especially and the simplistic shading (Unless you're planning to expend on that, but it's still cool.)
And it's big, I'm not good with big pictures and personally, I admire anyone who can pull them off nicely.

This is Mishie, her name means gateway. Her power is to open portals, but she can only bring organic things through. For instance, in the start of our story, Magneto tosses a bus through one of her portals, and the people inside go through it but the bus hits the ground. She is the bad guy in an alternate dimension, which Magneto and the X-Men are visiting. Bla bla lots of reasons. We still have to give her a few lackeys, but we have our core team of good guys, which I'll be drawing next.

Edit- HA! Good point Marcello...didn't even think of that! But cotton comes from a plant, leather comes from a cow...and it's our fic so we can tweak it where she only wears all organic clothes...too bad for some of the polyester wearing people on the bus though, huh....
