maybe you should start posting on beginer, and when you progress go on intermediate.PS. PLEASE do not get mad at me, i've been on this site a long time but i am still not even close to intermediate. You draw WAY BETTER then me! |

Hi, I'm new here. I just needed a nice place to oekaki :) nice to meet you all. I hope this is good enough to get into the intermediate... I've used oekaki before. I was just kinda playing around with this - I draw this guy whenever I'm somewhere new. 13+ for the cigarette >:( Smoking is bad.

I thought DBA drew this at first glance too. It has the G-rated feminine sensualness she likes to incorporate into many of her pics. This is very nice Kristine. You're getting the hang of this applet very quickly.

Reference used. Crud. I did it again. The option after you submit should allow you to reset the level as well as the stage.

Hehe, no worries Kristine. Critiques are super cool things to get. Although praise is very nice, especially when sincere, critiques mean that someone took the time to look at the picture and put their thoughts into words. You're absolutely right about the eyes and the cheeks. I started drawing 'life size' so the eyes and cheeks are actually the same size as the reference. But, then I changed my mind and decided I didn't really like the face in the ref and made the nose and mouth smaller. I'll try to pay more attention to proportions next time. :)Thanks DBA and Dave. I wish I could make the rest of the picture match the eyes. It's good to have goals. |
