Do you think there's any validity to the notion that the difference between the reference and the drawing shows the artist's filter on the world?

I don't mind the lines. Looking at it now the only real problem his his face shape and the lack of wrinkles in his clothes. Makes em look like cardboard. His face just gets too narrow towards the chin.

I'm addicted to draw cool real guys 8----DDD I really love it!
This one came out pretty nice, I think. The hair was really hard to draw.. again. Eyes, well, in this case, an eye, was hard to draw. I can't draw eyes.. Must practice!
Tell me what you think, please! I need to know it. Critisism and tips are welcome.. but so are positive comments =D;;

oo yeah. He uses those thick lines and uh, uses red a lot. He does it with a different tool, but this looks reeally similar.

I can tell. Your drawing is definitely in the same style. If you sharpened it up a bit, and used less blur, it could look quite nice.

I lean back in my chair when I draw which is ok, but I have a LCD screen. And when I lean forward I'm all like WTF because the pic looks completey different. It looks much better when I lean back.

If nobody says any thing about how 3d this is. You all are crossed-eyed. I made this 3d as hell, just stare at it for 3 seconds it pops out of the screen..

i like how the tag itself is transparent. i also like the shadow cast from the banner and dripping lines from tag.

Maybe in Britian, but on the east side of usa its stands for BadBoy Crew , in the mid-west its B-Boys, wich includes a group break dancing and graphing dropping bombs ect. wich is pretty old. My version was intended to the be Bad-Boys of new york the Puff Daddy controlled crew.

if you would add more tones to the yellow for definition, that would make this even more grand. it does remind me of my own works though. the taco (or the shapes leading up to the taco are awesome. the black shapes are also something of my own too. cool work derrick.
