This is my avatar over at Gaia. I thought it would be fun to draw. Tried to make it look like she (I'm) laying on a bed with coco kitty, but making sheets was challenging.

I might still do some touch ups.

I'm surprised this didn't get too many comments, this looks great <3 and the sheets look good but I think it's a different style from the shading of the subject in this. keep it up <3

im so sad without my stylus. i went to a couple of chain stores today and held boxes of graphire 4's longingly. i know the minute i buy a new one, my stylus will magically appear. sigh.

Do you think there's any validity to the notion that the difference between the reference and the drawing shows the artist's filter on the world?

I don't mind the lines. Looking at it now the only real problem his his face shape and the lack of wrinkles in his clothes. Makes em look like cardboard. His face just gets too narrow towards the chin.

I'm addicted to draw cool real guys 8----DDD I really love it!
This one came out pretty nice, I think. The hair was really hard to draw.. again. Eyes, well, in this case, an eye, was hard to draw. I can't draw eyes.. Must practice!
Tell me what you think, please! I need to know it. Critisism and tips are welcome.. but so are positive comments =D;;

oo yeah. He uses those thick lines and uh, uses red a lot. He does it with a different tool, but this looks reeally similar.

I can tell. Your drawing is definitely in the same style. If you sharpened it up a bit, and used less blur, it could look quite nice.

I lean back in my chair when I draw which is ok, but I have a LCD screen. And when I lean forward I'm all like WTF because the pic looks completey different. It looks much better when I lean back.
