Happens to me all the time, go outside for a smoke..light it..and they call ya back in for a phone call..
Qwerty_Wittle_Fawah (May 7, 2006)
hey did you know that you can't smoke outside where I live? That is crazy...so I am going to have to write you up, since the cigarette is technically located where I am since I am looking at.

BTW as much as I hate smoking, this is awesome
SYTHE (May 12, 2006)
Sheesh, what's this world coming to when you can't even enjoy a nice relaxing smoke on your front porch? What ever happened to that constitution thing; life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. What's next, no more fast food because it's bad for you, where does it end? Great pic!

Wow I had no idea that Hasboro had a hand in WW2. Was the Axis of Power; Lego, Hasboro and Mattel? They were batteling the evil Fisherprice Empire.

I found it. I knew I had this book somewhere around here.

loomis is great. His books used to be online. Apparently not now though.

Theres a Andrew Loomis book on "human anatomy for artists online" website.

Simple yet interesting pose. The subject has a good build too. For the lack of details in area this shows a lot. I think you did best on the legs and torso.
SYTHE (May 12, 2006)
This is an awsome quick sketch. You have a superb anatomical understanding, great pic.

Drawing also alleviates; headaches, constipation, depression, shingles and scurvy. Ahhhhh, the medicinal power of drawing, it's aaaaamazing!

Those lines you use to define the subject.. shwew. Blows my mind. That eye is sickly too.
Sweetcell (May 12, 2006)
Hmmm, Genie squid? It's fresh and so are you.... your style I will NEVER tire of. And look at with a little (lot) of envy.

Zack (May 12, 2006)
I'm rather fond of the form, textures and lighting, myself.
SYTHE (May 12, 2006)
Hello Mr. Squid....I think I'll call you Inky. Great lines, cool subject.

For the Red Sea community. The periodically-occuring membrane partially digests a dead shark, killed by its jellyfish-like tentacles.

This is a design for a logo my aunt asked me for her company/job/Ireallydon'tknow. But hopefuly it will be rejected and I can use it as an ID for Deviant Art xD xD

Anyway, my aunt told me that the theme was evolution, I tried diferent designs: birds, humans, lizards... birds/humans/lizards. But, at the end I followed an old idea I had when I was little: Ammonites (and their modern descendants, the nautilius) represent for me the pass of time. Their spiral and gorgeous designs not only show age, but functionality, a design that had to envolve to reach that state. No, it's not perfect (nothing is perfect) but at least it has worked for the last 260 millions years! xD So, Nautilius = symbol of evolution. And by the way, they are extremely beautiful.

I'm sorry if what I wrote is nonsense, I'm still not confident when writing in english.

This is just stunning. I do some graphic art for pay and would like to make a suggestion. Resize the name smaller so that it kind of lies "inside" the white space instead of extending into the shell. The shell is very gorgeous and also "busy", so you dont really want to add more lines to that area. I love the lettering style and i love the grey tones you picked. :)
