truth is, I HATE the reflection. (mom's).
didn't know how to do it, and didn't finish it, cause of the hope for some help or a miracle.

Those babies are cute and the simplistic style of the water is wonderful. You did a good job on the reflection.

Don't know why but when I look at this I think of playschool and that large mirror frame the lady holds up and says "I see Tommy and Lisa and Polly...."

Sweetcell (May 14, 2006)
You mean ladies right? We're all ladies. These would look stunning on your model with the feathered boa.

I would so appreciate it Pseudo. I don't believe in the myth that opals are bad luck, but they are awfully pretty.

"You do not vant to go up dere, it is said de Count lives dere. He is vampere... turn avay lad, turn avay now...."

Poppa got me thinking. Great atmousphere in this piece. It also reminds me of the opening of Young Frankenstien when they used the circular fade out/in (not sure if that's the technical term) from the castle to Froedrick.

i like this alot
Zack (edited May 9, 2006)
I like the figure and idea, but the background is too intense at the moment and doesn't feel distant. Try fading it out some so it has less contrast and a lighter overall value, closer to the lightness of the hills and sky. That way the woman's head will pop forward more and you'll have a nice sense of depth in the picture. You might want to put a stronger shadow under the ragged bits of cloth over her stomach as it looks a bit like disfigured skin at first glance. I like the detail and design in the picture though, good stuff.
