I was wondering, does anyone on here want/does/knows quite a lot of another language? I know quite a bit of Japanese, and I was wondering if anybody else knows any languages.

I know a little german, and you know because you've heard me. I also know a bit o' japanese, taught by you of course.

i know a little german, and that is decreasing more and more as I haven't been to Germany or even in a German class in 3 years. Though I am probably going to take Japanese next semester, something I should already know but my mom was too lazy to teach me.

Teach yew which, Japanese or German? Also, I think German is really cool.. I want to learn it

Actually, I only knew what it read cause I took French for 2 years.What I shoulda done was just passed off that lame requirement with my Japanese...^^;

1 year in intermediate and 1 year in high school.The only reason I couldn't use Japanese to my advantage was cause neither school offered it.So all it actually helped me academically in was when I took the SAT II.

yeah, it sucks because i couldn't take a third level german class in high school because my stupid school requires me to take a class called senior recreation where we learn to play cards, chess, and basically waste our time. so NOW i know too little german to test into a higher level german course, and must instead start over again, so i will do this with japanese, but i have to take three semesters worth. that'll be fun fitting that in while trying to catch up with tons of technical classes, especially in my junior/senior year. Damn you engineering! and damn my high school

I like how japanese sounds. I have heard those japanese songs with the female singers with the cute voices... Japanese must be trully a sexy language.

I was learning French and German but... I stopped.

I'm in my third year of spanish, in high school.

I think the only useful word I know so far is "rent-boy" [chapero]. And for a while, I knew how to say "May the Force be with you." Eh heh.

yeah.. i don't know much other than english, although i can count to 10 in german, spanish, and french! i would like to learn german because my father lived in germany for about 5 years, and he can speak it. but besides that... i would like to learn japanese as well, but that's because i'd like to goto japan one day.... *sigh*
