Woah, I'm blown away! I wish I knew how you learned to draw so realistically -- I assume that the answer is "practise, practise, practise", but if you've got any tips, I'd love to learn whatever you can offer!

I console myself with the fact that my own work shows improvement over time, but I wonder how old I'm going to get before I get anywhere NEAR this good... <LOL>

Did you work from a reference photo, or is this from your imagination?

This is off a ref.picture.I'm not THAT good^^;;(working out of my imagination).And actually, my mom's a tole painting teacher and has a good eye for things to fix.So sometimes, I just fix what she points out, and other times(most of the time), I find them myself.But I do know a thing or two about how to work out the proportions on a face, so if you need specific help on a drawing, you can memo me and I'd be more than happy to help you out^^.

Umm....dark-haired Orlando as in Orlando himself?I could, but maybe not anytime soon because I already have too many projects on me at the moment^^;(The Army of the Dead-unfinished-,The Dance Queen-unfinished-,Collab with fleeting_memory,Collab with EverDream, help DragonClaw with skin tones...you get the point^^;).But I'll try to get to it sometime.

Smoothed out the face more and fixed the cheeks and nose a bit.Gotta fix those eyes next......(at least the left one from the viewer's point of view since the eye closer to us 'should' be wider open than the one in the back...

haha-'should' be more open. This looks really good--it looks more and more real everytime you add to it. plus her nose looks a lot better. I am so excited to see the hair done because you always do awsome realistic hair. *excited*

i hate to be a pain in the ass but it looks kinda cross-eyed? or reverse? eeh i dunno. either way, doesnt look like both eyes are looking in the same direction

Nope.Just took a VERY close look at the ref. pic and it looks exactly right.And no, cross-eyed would look way different.The iris can't be in the back corner when someone is cross-eyed...

ohh there is a ref. pic?.....*missed out* well, it looks fine (kickass) to me. The only thing I can think of the the glossiness to her eyes and teeth.

Yeah, sorry^^;.I don't exactly have a 'sharp' pic to work off of.But the actual problem compared to the reference is the face positioning on the head.Should be a tad bit to the left.It's a bit too far to the right, but it's not very obvious if you were to compare them^^;.

Okay, first of all, I can tell this is someone you know personally because of the time and care that went into it. It shows. Am I right? Second of all, the eyes are right. And C, (lol!) everything isn't supposed to be sharp, so the fact that it is soft is okay. Girls like being soft.

You are a wonderful portrait artist and obviously have some very talented teachers. Your Mom must really rock. Would love to see her stuff, too! Btw, this girl, whoever she is, has a beautiful smile. You should tell her that.
