I usualy don't like this type of art...but this is exeptional.
strangeoid (Jan 22, 2004)
Sheez! I like this a lot! Especially her eyebrows... *has an eyebrow fetish* She is obscenely cool-looking.
Wolfheart (Jan 22, 2004)
i hate you and your ability to draw noses... *flicks you off*
this is... like... i wanna take you home and go to bed with you art ;)
agreeing with strangeoid, the eyebrows stand out *3 thumbs up*

Ooo, awesome! Wow, lovely, lovely. Umm, perhaps make the blade more shiney? You did exceptionally well on her face. But ya probably already knew that, right?
method3 (Jan 22, 2004)
Cool and stuff. I mean, awesome composition. But the text is way way out of place it seems... maybe because it's not anti-aliased? Just makes me cringe cause it seems so contrasty compared to everything else.

made the hair lighter (supposed to be white w straw shading, looked too blonde before) and added more shading to the blade. as for the text i tried to make it smoother but it didnt work (or i didnt do it right) i'll just change that in another program. thanks for the help all :)
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Jan 23, 2004)
This is the first time I believe I've ever seen a "cartoon-like" character that looked so realistic. Too good to be true! Wonderful work. (And she does, in fact, have a beautiful nose)
Look (Jan 24, 2004)
I love the face. It's beautifully done!
Soshell (Jan 25, 2004)
her face and hand are incredible! her hair doesnt look like it goes on her but its cool :) oh and i think you did the edge of the holder...thingy...(i cant think of what its called) on the sword very very well it looks like real metal :)
sooj (Jan 26, 2004)
very cool composition! i love the hands, ace work
rot-k (Feb 2, 2004)
This is brilliant! It's a amazing how you can draw such a realistic character while keeping with the anime inspiration (I hope this makes sense)
Anyway, very well done! Your work is great.
tappie_chan (Mar 8, 2004)
FABULOUS perspective. the expression on her face is wonderful as well.
TheCrimsonKing (Apr 8, 2004)
Very cool, from the thumb I thought it was a Sophitia. A couple things I suggest, the ear seems to high and out of place as well as being heavly drawn compaired to the rest of the face. For metal? your hilt looks fine, however for the blade; (doesn't look to bad at all) I'd just make the colors and transitions a bit sharper, since metal doesn't blur specularity, they have nice angular reflections of bluish greys.
Wez (Apr 12, 2004)
I like this picture alot 8/10 rating
marcello (Apr 12, 2004)
wez: and what, may I ask, does 8/10 mean, on your scale? Obvious it means there are problems or things you don't like about the picture. So, care to elaborate?
friend (Jul 4, 2004)

Mipunai (Aug 15, 2004)

Salahare (Aug 29, 2005)
OMG, It looks like a picture from the inside of an instruction book for a game! The shading and subtle colors are so realistic.
KH44N (Aug 29, 2005)
I have to agree with Salahare! This is flippin amazing! You did a fantastic job on eyes and the sword, and the shading is terrific. Excellent work! ^__^
ssmario100 (Aug 8, 2006)
