an artist's view of a person. you really can't compare drawing something that's 3d in reality to copying an existing 2d image which has its own contrast, composition, and shading already figured out. drawing a portrait from a photo is more comparable. I'm not saying I haven't done it, and I'm not saying it's not useful practice, but it doesn't impress me.
