She looks like a harpy, from Peirs Anthony's Xanth series. I love this, it's so well done. The castle in the background kicks ass.

And when the sun sets, a ghostly darkness blankets the collapsing palaces and temples, moving the historic into the romantic.

This is loosely based on a few photos of Roman ruins I found laying about the internet. It was a practice in perspective, lines and shading.

Ooooh.. pretty piccy, poppasweetie. I love your foolin' around. :) It's a peaceful looking scene. I especially like those twinkly stars.
And now that the sun's not shining brightly through the window beside me, I'm noticing that haze around the moon.. I like that! :)
