My first drawing here. ^_^ You know, I had thought it was... busier than this. Oh well. This was a lot of experimentation, and I think it came out okay. Might add more to it, or try again...

that's the point - none of my pictures are done using a tablet because I don't own one. Which is why im'm quite proud of the cloud

Ah, crap. I suck at "shadowing"...

At least you can see what's happening up there. Yep, that's me, contemplating the last moment before Halley's Comet enters in collision with the Earth. Ouch.

Actually I find the shading rather interesting. But if you want a tip on more 'comic/cartoon' style cel shading, try setting the mask tool to your outline color (the button that says "Normal" can be changed to "Mask", "ReMask", etc.), then you can safely draw without destroying your lines. Then just pick single darker colors with the regular brush (not water color), and draw!
