Might I suggest drawing something different for a change? Although they're nice and all, they're not amazing, and it's sort of starting to get a bit repetitive.

Awesome lighting! Weird stuff on the head, but it looks cool. I like the expression and mood. So evil

I never edited anything this old, but I don't like what I said here at all. I really loved this picture, and I still do. HEY!! I like being in the attic... or.... are we in the basement?

you could make the pears exploding pears..........You can always get attention by adding contrast or complimentry colors....Just a thought, im not no scientist :)
false_truths (Jan 13, 2004)
actually, this is kind of interesting. the pears kind of seem to be more real than the background. maybe its because the rest of the pic is in blues, and then the pairs are yellowy-green. lol. cool ^_^.
RabidMalikFanGirl (Jan 13, 2004)
Well if the pears were exploding, it wouldn't be too much of a still life, ne? But I agree, the foreground and the background color are quite a contrast. :) Nice work.
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Jan 16, 2004)
Some of the most famous and interesting paintings done by the old masters are still-life. Nothing boring about this. Realism is very difficult to do and this is great work. Keep it up!

looks very nice overall, except the breasts seem a little off (too high? dunno).

nice thing about drawing furries is the faces are sooooo much easier to get right. mainly because they're generally more cartoony, and you don't notice "mistakes" as well as with human faces.
Fin_beast (edited Jan 12, 2004)
Yup :D
Marcello: You implying that you don't like it?
marcello (Jan 12, 2004)
kinda sketchy for intermediate

it's a slightly greenish yellow bordering on light olive color.

nice design, but I don't like all the white bits, you should probably use layers or at least the mask tool then draw with a colored brush instead of fill. (basically never use flood fill)
DinoFlorist (Jan 14, 2004)
I dont get layers...maybe someone can help me understand?
marcello (Jan 14, 2004)
just imagine transparencies you can paint on and switch order of and move around, but with the added ability to draw on any of them. then imagine drwaing lineart on one layer, then coloring on another. coloring on a second layer won't touch the lineart on your first layer.
