You may also want to check out JTablet on the sketchstudio site, it allows you to use tablet pressure to control brush size/opacity.
ArchMageZeratuL (edited Feb 3, 2003)
You should use antialiased brushes... other than that, it's nice
Minitsaru (edited Feb 3, 2003)
Even in your faster drawings you still manage to creat sparkling new characters and awsome backgrounds.... its amazing! |

This is an awsome programe marcello. One thing is it is sorda slow. But other than that its great.
Kazukie (edited Feb 1, 2003)
@_@ Wow cool! Very 70's? lol I like the thing in the middle that you blurred out.
Knockoff (edited Feb 1, 2003)
Whats suposted to be in the middle is KO for Knockoff.
marcello (edited Feb 1, 2003)
There isn't a whole lot I can do about the slowness, if you have a slow computer. It should run fine if you have 450mHz computer or faster. It definitely runs fine at 733mHz. If you have that or faster, let me know, because the problem may be something else. You may also want to try upgrading to the latest Java 2 v1.4.1 at http://java.sun.com/getjava/ It runs faster and is generally all around better.

His eyes are red because he's been crying.

Oh?That sounds horrible. I feel really sorry for him. It's almost as if the emotion was extracted from another source... Why did you do something so depressing? Is there something wrong? Or do you just feel like doing this?
ChinkyFlip (edited Jan 31, 2003)
Because my mom's a bitch. And I felt like drawing something depressing. -_- I'm trying to get all my feelings out..

Here's a little fanart to test the board. A tribute to a click game that not only achieved a truly professional level of excellence, but also managed to make this hardened gamer scream at the difficulty level. My apologies for the rather shoddy mouse-borne linework; I'm still saving up the money to get a wacom tablet. Havoc out. |

I'm doing a public beta testing because it is the quickest way to find bugs and problems. If you aren't aware of what Lascaux Sketch is, I urge you to go to the Sketch Studio Web site and check it out. You can also download the JTablet Plugin for windows, that allows you to use pressure sensitive tablet support.
ChinkyFlip (edited Feb 1, 2003)
Is there ever going to be an "Animated" Lauscaux sketch..? It would be interesting to see how it works.
marcello (edited Feb 1, 2003)
Yes, animation support is already partially implemented, and will be part of the program by version 1.0, but I decided to leave it incomplete for the initial beta testing, since it's already a fairly powerful applet.
thehappywakeboarder (edited Feb 5, 2003)
this is a really great program...the selction systemis a little sticky but you adaopt and you move on. keep up the good (excellent) work.
ky (edited Feb 10, 2003)
I didn't find anything wrong... but then again, I used only a few of the tools. Everything seems to be fine standardus. I enjoy the mapping and the selection of moves one makes.I concur that it is a powerful applet. Continue the work. |

Veeeery peculiar. Uncanny, even.
Why DIDN'T you put it in? Heh.
Anyhow, this manga-ish style is great! The little plushie is so cute.
