Weee, scare face!Not sure if you have the splinter out of your finger yet. What sweet said works, but if your a bit squeemish, I sometimes try to suck it out, at the very least it somewhat losens it. Paper cuts and splinters -> 2 of lifes littlest yet relatively most painful 'injuries'. |

I don't remember where I found this, but I felt it was pretty enough to try to paint. It doesn't look exactly like the model, but close enough.

Im so surprised nobody managed to point out the great realism in taht hammock and as for sweetcell, you should show him whats what and ban him I mean he sexually harrassed you. Is anything just in this world anymore?

wow. let's see. thank you so much for the sweet comments! I really love palm trees,water and hammocks, so I guess I must have been in a nice mood when creating this "cliche" drawing. I suppose that many drawings could be called cliche, gosh, think of how many portraits that have already been drawn...gee, no sense in anyone drawing anymore, huh...? lol...anyway. Sweetcell, thanks for defending the draw, and in that sense, defending my right to be 'cliche.' I was going to address the rudeness of the remarks on here, but don't need the drama on this lovely Sunday morning. Think I'll go draw a road disappearing into the sunset, oh jeez, that's been done though, hasn't it? how cliche that would be...lol peace, brothers and sisters...peace. |

So fine users of Lascaux Sketch (and perhaps those of oekaki shi painter), I make an offer to you. I'm contemplating doing a reworking of Lascaux Sketch (not from the ground up, but a bit of retooling) of which I am tentatively calling Lascaux Sketch Pro. I imagine some of the big new features would be a better brush system (smoother and supporting decimal size brushes such as 1.5px), an animation system, an auto-save feature, and potentially other features as seen fit. Update: due to technical difficulties the maintenance did not go as planned. I have reopened the site while we investigate alternate solutions. Sorry for the downtime!
