Emma's right...especially when you miss a day or two coming up here...the pictures seem to get lost in the shuffle. The best thing to do, I guess, would be to LOOK IN A PERSON'S GALLERY for anything you might have missed(which I, at times, am remiss in doing too).
Awesome face on this one, ED... but I also enjoyed the animation...it was wonderful to watch!

Gah... what, what? Is it everyone's intention here to A) Scare me out of my wits or B) Give me a heart attack?
I littlerally jumped when I saw this, plain freaky.

Gorgeous job, as always.

fleeting_memory (Jun 1, 2004)
this is like a mix of DMV stlye and Axil style. DMV for the hand, Axil for the glass-interesting
laurael (Jul 2, 2004)
This is great Anna...very real looking glass of wine, beautiful job with the tray and the hand is drawn well and has nice shading.

Very cool...everyone that's doing reflections is doing a wonderful job. I like pics of horses...this one has a hint of color that's just perfect...great!
Supergurl103 (May 31, 2004)
this is very nice, davin, very pretty, lovely horse :)
mx (edited Jun 2, 2004)
Nice painting :)
I like the simplistic use of color(not too many colors, but more subtle)the contrasrt of light and dark is also quite a feature.
Go well
mx

By the way...that girl i drew, is crazy about horses. She will probably like this pic a lot.

As a NON DIGITAL artist ( ie I tend to usually paint and draw rather than seriously working on digital art) I thought I would post my main page- there are various links on it- notably to Youdraw - my main haunt while on the internet. It might give more of an idea of me "as a whole" ( no pun intended. ) Anyway I wouldnt recommend absolute arts- there are too many people there to get noticed... but its worth a look at... Seriously though I really like 2 draw now im getting used to it... I just wis...

How did I miss this one? This is great. I think it's your best ever. The skin tones are wonderful, and the eyes are beautiful, and the hair is very well done. I still don't know how I miss so much stuff as often as I browse around here. Had to come to your gallery to check out what you'd been up to. :)
laurael (Jun 17, 2004)
Thank you DBA...
I know...I have to browse ppl's galleries too to see what I've missed. Guess that's the best way to catch up on things...lol.

He kiiiinda looks like Elijah Wood and the girl kind of remind me that girl from Smallville. Great job.

To Gigandas on the gf thing: Awww! Here, have a cookie! *tosses it to him* I could give you a hug but it would just be a virtual one... lol

Wherever you've been flown, upon the battlefields you've known...
The brave have fallen, beneath proud banners they remain.
I'd like to think I'd give the breath I hold within...
To those heroes whom gave theirs, in freedom's name...

Hmmm... I commented earlier on this.. don't remember exactly what I said, but indicated that I like it very much.. for some reason my comment was deleted by a moderator. Anyway, I do like it.. it's wonderful.
longway (edited May 31, 2004)
whats up with the yellow box? lol, i think all of us in the usa, know very well about the warnings. yet no matter the situation, we remain proud and thankful of our fallen heroes. i for one will not be shamed or intimidated by my own heritage, whether the cause be politically right or wrong....our people still made the ultimate sacrifice, and that i honor today...thanks everyone.
Gigandas (May 31, 2004)
I'm not intimidated either :).Just thought I'd mention it^^;.Btw, very nice drawing to symbolize this whole situation. And rikku, you might want to pay more attention on what may be upcoming in the U.S.^^;.Just to tell you in short though, we're expecting a big terrorist attack this summer.Which hopefully, won't happen, but you never know :)...
longway (May 31, 2004)
if preminition took hold and slapped me, lol, i am not sure about that timing riku...it may be anywhere, anytime...to kill and maim more innocent people here. their biggest weapon isn't the one that kills, it is the one that causes fear and uncertainty. whereby controlling our lives with that, we may not live as our freedom dictates. i heard a quote yesterday, and not sure whom said it, but its true.."a true patriot, remains ready to defend his freedom....even from its own government"! right or wrong...and gig!, it needs to be thought about....thanx
