Yeah! I really love the lips too! I think the left eye might be a smige higher then the right, but I like how you did the nose *takes notes* lol But those lips really stand out! Nice n.n

you could make the pears exploding pears..........You can always get attention by adding contrast or complimentry colors....Just a thought, im not no scientist :)

actually, this is kind of interesting. the pears kind of seem to be more real than the background. maybe its because the rest of the pic is in blues, and then the pairs are yellowy-green. lol. cool ^_^.

Well if the pears were exploding, it wouldn't be too much of a still life, ne? But I agree, the foreground and the background color are quite a contrast. :) Nice work.

Some of the most famous and interesting paintings done by the old masters are still-life. Nothing boring about this. Realism is very difficult to do and this is great work. Keep it up!

Very true. Easy on the blur, at least on her hair. Nice nose and mouth though: no outlines=talent.

Actually, I kind of like the effect of the blur. It's kind of like a dream-girl and all you can really see clearly is her face... Yeah, but it's a really good drawing. Maybe not the greatest proportions, but for all I know, you did that on purpose too. :) Hey, if you call it Art, just about anything goes so long as that was what you intended, I guess... ;)

Great for a first picture! There is only one things that bothers me... it looks like she got stretched out diagonally. Very pretty girl, and the rainbow in back is nice, too.

its beautiful but there isnt really a strong light source, which takes away from it looking like its a round object. nevertheless, its fantastic, i like the rainbow, nice and subtle.
