Theres something reeally weird about really bright beams of sunlight when the sun is setting. It's just really awkward to see something so bright when the sky is getting darker. This picture gives me a funny feeling. I like it.
Miss_DJ (Jan 27, 2006)
very nice, Cindy...great choice of colors!
darkshadow (Jan 31, 2006)
the windows did not give me the feeling they were wet just really old
glass from before the 1920's kinda settals and given time the top becomes thin and the bottom gets thicker

2draw-con
marcello (edited Nov 27, 2005)
So, who would be interested in a 2draw-con? It'd probably be here in New Mexico, maybe sometime in the Spring. If there is interest of course. Probably raffles, contests, and just general hanging out. Probably plenty of cool free and secret shit that you'd have to come to get. Who knows. 2draw merch maybe? Just throwing the idea out there, post your thoughts. p.s. probably the biggest issue is location and "getting there." feel free to post your thoughts on that, as well. p.p.s. ...

Well my name's John Lee Pettimore
Same as my daddy and his daddy before
You hardly ever saw Grandaddy down here
He only came to town about twice a year
He'd buy a hundred pounds of yeast and some copper line
Everybody knew that he made moonshine
Now the revenue man wanted Grandaddy bad
He headed up the holler with everything he had
It's before my time but I've been told
He never came back from Copperhead Road

Now Daddy ran the whiskey in a big block Dodge
Bought it at an auction at the Mason's Lodge
Johnson County Sheriff painted on the side
Just shot a coat of primer then he looked inside
Well him and my uncle tore that engine down
I still remember that rumblin' sound

Well the sheriff came around in the middle of the night
Heard mama cryin', knew something wasn't right
He was headed down to Knoxville with the weekly load
You could smell the whiskey burnin' down Copperhead Road

I volunteered for the Army on my birthday
They draft the white trash first,'round here anyway
I done two tours of duty in Vietnam
And I came home with a brand new plan
I take the seed from Colombia and Mexico
I plant it up the holler down Copperhead Road
Well the D.E.A.'s got a chopper in the air
I wake up screaming like I'm back over there
I learned a thing or two from ol' Charlie don't you know
You better stay away from Copperhead Road

Running it's dangerous, yeah, but making the stuff isn't exactly the world's safest thing either.
Great picture, Axil. I love the dappled lighting.
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Feb 2, 2006)
At first I wasn't going to comment on this, because I comment on almost all of your pictures that I like (which would be almost all of them) and I look like some kind of groupie following you around and falling at your feet, but I decided I don't care, because I keep coming back to look at this one over and over again. It is one of my favorite things you've ever done, and I'm not going to explain why because nobody really cares why except for me, but the lyrics and the picture.... have a special meaning to me, and aside from all that...

I love the painting. It's done in a way that you, and only you, could do it.
sincity (Feb 2, 2006)
Great work as always axil. The lyrics are perfect for this. :}

Kasha Oil Painting.
Kasha (Jan 29, 2006)
Hi, long time no see. Sorry I haven't been on the boards lately, I haven't had much time. I did manage to do an oil painting. A lot of stuff is rather off but I haven't done an oil painting in 3 years. The style of it is inspired by Mucha and Klimt and it's 12"x"24. I'm deciding to sell it and I'm wondering if any of you are interested. Please memo me. Here is a picture. This is the only one that came out without the horrid gl...

Reminds me of a keychain I saw one day. It had a little smiley face, and on the keychain it said "You're ugly. Have a nice day!"
Yay! I feel all happy now :D

(it blinks if you switch from version 2 to 3!)

Axil62 (Oct 17, 2005)
It's not? I'm really really sorry! Oh god, what can I do to improve it so it meets the intermedian standard oinks? Do you think they'll delete it!? Oh I hope not!

hey I learned something today! that's a helluva word there... you'll never see me contemplating my navel though, not since I had twins, the thing is non-recognizable.
great draw, I love the coloring job
davincipoppalag (Oct 14, 2005)
The body looks excellent in this, that subtle transition of colors really makes it look real.

If half of your friend are rite, then your hot. if half of them are wrong your probally even cuter then this picture (and also becuase playing with your "belly butten" for very long time would be kinda wierd. and defenily not hot.)

Axil62 (Oct 11, 2005)
I'm not sure either, but it has something to do with stuff under the surface.
