It's not done, so I dont see how you can decide its not for the intermediate board. And, the best stuff on here is mostly not anime. The fact that this isn't anime doesn't mean it belongs on beginner.

Thanks. I only use the line tool on the arms.. if i didn't they would be deformed @_@

thats the problem with lineart. If you cant keep the mouse/tablet steady, it'll look scribbly, and if you use the line tool, you'll never advance past that. So, the only way to get better it to draw freehand. The line tool will make things look ok, but thats the way they'll always stay. ok.

Yeah thanks for the tips. :3My mouse sucks and isn't easy to use so i do find the linetool to come in hand after giving up on trying to draw freehand.

you should try to draw more freely and not focus on the rules that need to be followed, such as the folds and clothes and where to shade. You should look at a real person and learn the rules. Then if you wanna draw anime, just draw a cartoon and use the rules you've learned from your own eye.

I know, and usually I do. I just have a lot of trouble in general with oekaki's. Also, I think it might make more sence when you realize in the final he's holding a giant lightsource of a fireball. |

"Effort" doesn't always produce good art, it has to be combined with other things. I do believe in magic, but I don't think that's what happened here. You have it in you, and especially when you don't try too hard. When your "reins" get loosened, you'll be able to run. :) |

I thought something seemed a little off about this picture. I think that's spot on Stasiuk. Even if they're flat chested there should be curves to delineate the upper chest from the torso. Otherwise I love the coloring, folds, tree and blossoms and their cute expressive faces (why are these char always being chained up?)
