I love Lascaux. I've been using it for all my drawings. However, I wanted to learn how to use Shi-Painter as well. I did one little pic on Beginners a while ago but found it extremely hard to blend/shade. I fiddled around and didn't really get anywhere. lol I'd really appreciate any suggestions on how to blend colors on Shi-Painter! Thanks!

That's so nice of you to say, Sweetcell... I just now noticed the new "recent comments" section and saw this. ...haha, i was trying to see if i could use the watercolour tool to draw something that isn't a person for once. it didn't turn out quite as i had expected, but then again this is only my second time using lascaux. it's Mog from final fantasy crystal chronicles. the bg came out by accident, and i like the look of the stuff on the bottom. hahaha, maybe i'll get better in time.....

ah yesh the moogle. I thought Mog had an Orange little poof...or maybe that's just in FF9...those little creatures that you search for desperately when your parents say you have to stop playing..."MUST SAVE...noooooooooo can't find moogle!" awesome picture as always

It's a very nice picture... I like the shading and the blends of color. Something about it makes it look sloppy. I think it is because some places have those pixely black lines around it, and other places do not. You might want to erase them or something, so it will look neater.

so my friend started me on these text adventure games..this is an imagined scene from one called 'alice through the looking glass'.
although ive seen this many times in movies and storybooks of course, this is my own composition and whatnot...ill probably draw more imagined scenes from the same game. yes kids...no pictures! :o
