I'm very happy for you people who understand how to make skin look real... I really am :)
debem (Jul 10, 2004)
Nice work! The lines around her eyes and the darkening of her teeth lead me to believe that she is in her mid 30's.
davincipoppalag (Jul 11, 2004)
She's eleven but she's had a hard life....
Gigge (Jul 11, 2004)
Hahaha, funny thing is, the girl must have been about 12 in the original image. She looks in her late 20's to me....so.....I guess I need to work on kids. Gotta remember they have bigger foreheads and shorter noses. So much to learn!!

Peanut butter.. it takes peanut butter to get gum out of hair. Excellent job on that hair, Lori.
laurael (Jul 9, 2004)
Great job on that hair and all. Gotta love that little bitty ant... ^-^

I like the darkness of it and that robe is beautiful.. the color as well as the work on the folds.
davincipoppalag (Jul 9, 2004)
Yes..the darkness is part of what makes this picture so effective... keep em coming zep
Knockoff (Jul 9, 2004)
Wow, I like the glowy feel to it. The red skin color is great. I like how you can only see the hands of the person. :)
Aubrey (Jul 10, 2004)
Yep another good one Zep :) I wish I had that robe :-D

Inspired by KO's last one and everyone else who's done one.
Just thought I would try one from LOTR that I saw up on the net.

Legolas: Are we there yet?
Gandalf: For the last time, NO! Don't make me come back there!
laurael (Jul 17, 2004)

This is really interesting to look at.Each person is pretty unique with different types of clothing and weaponry that it makes you want to look for more as you stare at it :).

Those eyes... they're mesmerizing. Very nice picture, zep.
davincipoppalag (Jul 9, 2004)
Poor kid looks lonely, sad and hungry. Even without your signature black lines this is a good one zep
Knockoff (Jul 9, 2004)
This is awesome, its a bit different from your normal style. Esp with the no lines.
The coloring in this one is really good. Nice job again, Zep!
Aubrey (Jul 10, 2004)
He has that blank stare into space... My sister's friend always asks what someone's thinking about when they get that look, but usually with me I'm not actually thinking of one particular thing.. just am lost in thought...

wow! This is a stunning pictures, the colors are amazing! The only thing about the horse that could use some improvement is the way the head connects to the neck, and it's hind legs. Other than those rather small things, this picture is great ^_^
hope to see more of your drawings in the future

It's very pretty and shiny. The thumbnail makes me hungry for cinnamon rolls.
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Jul 8, 2004)
It's a very pretty thingy. To me it looks like a design on a pure gold Egyptian thingy of some kind. A very pretty Egyptian thingy, at that.
davincipoppalag (Jul 9, 2004)
Silly folks,,this is quite obviously a highly polished bronze age danish that has been petrified. I can see polisyhed cinnamon on it..Nice shiny surface mr zack

The mad scientist and the jars with body parts in them are great, all these pics you're doing are :)
debem (Jul 10, 2004)
Well, I already love ALL your work, Icats...however, I find this particularly appealing because of my fascination with the weird, biological, and macabre.
Kloxboy (Jul 10, 2004)
Cool piece, I like the color of the flesh and those eyes look great. Stylish piece.
Knockoff (Jul 14, 2004)

or hanging by a thread...

leaving tomorrow for my 'week in the beach house' vacation on a brownish greenish water maybe a few oil spills in view (Exxon employed my Daddy and fed me for most of my life so can't complain 'bout that part) Texas beach (lol) with long time friends and it comes not a moment too soon... figured if I didn't mention something about it at least one person here who has noticed I am obsessive compulsive about drawing here almost every day would think I had died or something when they don't see any pictures posted by me. I'm sure I'll be in major 2draw withdrawal by the time I get back. Have to throw some more bikinis and t-shirts in my suitcase and then I'll try to finish drawing this.

Wow, this is amazing, but then again, all your art is.
The detail in this is excelent.
Bumble_Beez (Jul 10, 2004)
Wow, this is great. The detail is amazing, it looks like a photograph.
Aubrey (Jul 10, 2004)
Have a whole lotta fun this week DB and your picture turned out really neat with all the threads :)
DeadlyBlondeArcher (edited Jul 16, 2004)
Thanks ya'll.... I'm back! I didn't draw pictures in the sand, but I sculpted a fabulous mermaid out of sand with my best friend and my nieces... she was a total babe and she turned into a tourist attraction... ppl came from miles down the beach to see her and take pictures. (She was really comical, actually, seaweed hair and everything) I was afraid I'd have terrible 2-draw withdrawal, but was having so much fun I didn't think about it once till somebody got out a laptop last night and I had to just log on and see the welcome page.) lol
