I think the nostrils are botherin you cause the picture you're drawing from is black and white so they're not the focal point on it cause everything else is the same. When ya make it color with black nostrils it makes them more prevalent. But I think the eyes take away most of that anyhoo, beautiful eyes!

Oh but it's damn spiffy anyways, what a pretty picture. I love the use of canvas space, and the eyes...*sigh* the eyes are beautiful. As I'm sure you are as well, since it is a picture of you! Nice pichur. :D

lovely, the shading is superb, esp on the skin and eyes. and i like the silhouette look of the hair. wormtongue is actually rather nice to look at here.

Aww, kitty kitty. Ugh. All I have left to do is to get him in my sights.Lots of ppl will think this picture is mean. It is. When I was about three years old there was a cat that hung out in our garage, and I had a little rocking chair in there and I would go out and hold the cat and rock it and sing to it. She had kittens and one day I picked her up to rock her and she bit me in the face. The cat was sent to be tested for rabies but while we were waiting for the results I had almost a whole series of rabies shots in my stomach over a period of days (6 of them, I think). This is probably one reason I love cats so much. edit: Please note that I do not really shoot cats, and no cats were harmed in the drawing of this picture. :)

More {{{{{{Cyberhugs}}}}}} to you, longway. I also have suffered from depression for most of my life (it runs in my family). Trail walking, nature, art, honesty, and prozac have become tried and true remedies for me.

I suffer with the same things...especially the last 11 months...But if it was not for the help given to me by Jesus, i would probably have committed suicide... There is one thing missing from this picture... ME! I am sitting at that table eating things wrapped in grape leaves, drinking wine and checking out hot Greek guys (while going by my given name, Cynthia, which just happens to be Greek. :) edit: this is very well-done.. exceptional composition and my favorite thing is the greenery on the wall (just one teeny tiny thing... maybe a bit of a shadow under the table and chairs would sort of "hold them down" to the patio)
