Well when I started the picture this is what it looked like outside my window, now, it is pitch black. I am WAY not done! I am just wanting suggestions! So PLEASE GIVE ME YOUR OPINION!!!!!!! Oh yeah, please tell me if this belongs in intermediate, this is my first real try for that board.

Copper cartoon

this is my cat, Copper. Just bought him a "catnip bed" the other day... for all cat lovers... get one! Ya just sprinkle a little kitty nip in this fleecy bed, put it in his/her favorite spot... and they are in kitty heaven... Copper has barely left the thing since I brought it home... and will NOT let our other cat touch it....just a silly cartoon ;)

This is my first attept and probably my last after finding out i cant actually draw. o_O
I didnt have a reference, i just started drawing a tree and it went from there. Any comments or suggestions are very welcome. : )

Edit: OMG, Ive just noticed how long it took me to draw, how embarrassing.

The style of the tree just amazes me. Your art style is very unique, in a good way. I like that you can just sit there and draw without a reference. Keep it up!

Not bad at all for a first try..The shapes are very nice, as are the colors. I like the moon picture better but this is a good start.Keep at it!

Very nice! I looks like a pencil sketch of a black and white photo, with just a touch of color added to the sky for nice effect! All the elements in this one tie together so nicely.

I was desperate for the large canvas size, so I don't care how long it takes me, i'm gonna make this perfect, and worthy of advanced!

I found a praying mantis on the footpath outside school today so i picked it up and carried it all the way to the mall where i catch a bus home from. All my friends rejected me though 'cause they thought it was creepy and they wanted to squash it. Oh well. I named him Archie and let him go in the rose bushes in our front garden.

Comments and suggestions EXTREMELY welcome 'cause i want to make this best I poss. can.

thanks all, i decided to go with as is, also the subject matter in all good humor, "is not a redhead' lol....and to those who are curious, my son and daughter are redheads, my sister, my brother, mom. and a couple of my friends are redheads. i am the only one who really wants it, and i doesn't have it...a wannabe.lol

Who's Inounewa? This is purdy Longway. The face is similar to others you've drawn but the change in the details of everything else make it very pretty too.

thanks everyone, axil, or dan or whatever, i'd love to have your ability. your pictures are wonderful. i do love red hair, and i almost seem destined to draw it. lol, but i'll try some other stuff too. but i won't promise not to do any redheads...lol and everyone, i am inounewa on youdraw....the graduation to color here has been difficult. but in time i'll get more versatile, and better with the programs....thanks
