I have these amazing dreams, of better days, you're right there, then I awaken and you're gone. It's been a while now but you're still beating like a drum, every damn day I think of you, what the hell is wrong with me? did I, do I really love you this much? am I just some kind of masochist? I wish I could forget it all but if I did that, I would lose so much, you left so much. :/ blah

Dave: Thanks. Although, I never dream of demons, monsters or abstract art. I'd say most of my drawings on 2draw are visual representations of my emotional state. As far as dreaming goes, I usually dream of past experiences but they're always totally mixed up and confusing.

Dreams... they can make you feel better, they can make you feel awful :( I hate them sometimes... but not this drawing. I could stare at it hours, even if it seems to drain positive emotions as you do so.

I was going to comment on this earlier, but I kept staring at it, and staring at it, then I fell asleep, and awoke to a frightening sight! Very good job on this so far! Love this movie. I think this movie, and the Shining are the only 2 movies that really scare me just a tad.

I like it much. The contrasting colours between the red and the green are nice, and her skin tone is just about perfect for a redhead. However, I'd suggest some smoother shading on the hair - it looks like you rushed it a little and used too much of the blur tool towards the underside of her jaw. Also, her nearest eye to the viewer is a bit big and a little bit funny-shaped, but that's a little more of a minute thing. :) This is really a great start. With a little tweaking it'll be just terrific. Keep up the good work.<3clover. |

I've always had an obsession with birds, with their ability to fly, with their hollow bones and above all, their capacity for freedom. When I was a little girl, I collected feathers in hopes that I could charm them and turn into a bird of my choice. I have the memory of flight, and I do not know where it comes from. I, earthbound creature, must be content to watch as these feathered things - all air and hollow light - soar above me on the thermals above highway twenty-one out of Jacksonville. I would think they taunt me, but birds are not cruel, they are not human, and have no capacity for such things... (I wish I could fly.) Finished now. I don't really have anything else to add. Sorry about the short timer?

I'm trying for more of my pencil work up here, it's hard to translate sometimes.Mooki - It's done now (obviously, lol), but thanks. :) Cameo - I'm not a fan of colour, I don't see it well and I don't really like working with it - I have to learn someday, I guess. I love this. Sorry I hadn't mentioned early. Your shading is terrific. I would quibble on the hand position, but I am a pianist, and it's close enough. :)
