Blech. Thought I'd try realism...so...ta-da! Isn't it beautiful?Finish later. My hand hurts. timer way off!! this took longer than it says.

It looks nice! Yet, it's not realism at all... looks between anime and cartoon to me. But good nonetheless :)Realism is basically copying from reality - try to look at a photo next time to get started ;D @yuohoo: Realism is drawing the way things are, generally with references. What you're talking about are traditional medias - watercolors, oils, pencils and so on :) |

Thanks, guys! ^^Actually I was not going to have the lines so sketchy, but I was testing a new technique that dried my patience ^^; So I saved it as it was... but I plan to retouch it later ^^ Now it's becoming like I wanted \o/ With Jtablet installed everything is so much easier *-*
The technique I mentioned was painting over the rough lines ^^ Now that things are working out, Im starting to like this way of working ^^v EDIT: I can't revise the image anymore... It has exceeded the space limit T_T Oh well, this one's going to Photoshop later xD |

Kaoru from Ouran. :). He's so insightful. And Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I ate mine in 10 minutes xD.. Chinese take-out, canned corn, mashed potatoes and turkey... mm.((For personal reference))Test image for my computer mice . Ball mouse does best for line art... but the major downfall is the how difficult it is to use the left clicker. However, lineart is much much smoother and controlled. Speed is also lacking, it feels like an eternity before things get done. Laser mouse does not give the same feeling of stability as the ball mouse, but it moves much faster and the clicker works. Old computer makes everything look smooth, therefore, when looking at my images on a new computer, everything is worse looking. The difference in screen brightness was a shocker as well. Finally, and quite obviously, the old computer did not fare well with many layers and uploading (lots of lag).

I've not been here for a LONG time.. Years practically. ^^ And let's just say I forgot how to use a lot of the drawing applets. x.x So..I'm trying to get back into the practice of drawing here. O.o And I've never used this applet before so I decided to try it out. ^^
