A quick sketch of a character I play in a RP, Gareth. Two layers, solids and halftone watercolors, carpel (sp?) tunnel. XD I'm a little more pleased with today's sketch than I was with yesterday's. There's a bit of an anatomy problem with his left arm there, but making a wireframe would have been messy on Oekaki. Random fact! His giant, oversized hoody actually has little teddy bear ears on the hood part. I'll have to draw him with it up one of these days... Please excuse the shoddy background. I really, really couldn't think of anything better. :x |

I love this new style of art , makes it look really coolios! cute maracas..heh PEPE!'Ere. Cause Armando asked for a background. So he gets a crappy one, because the picture was meant to be crappy in the first place. So nyah nyah.

I just realized that when I was a little kid, I didn't notice even half as many bums as I do today. I wonder if children have some kind of filters in their eyes to protect them from seeing bad things?

Oh come on now.. That's not a bum.. You mistakened an innocent man drinking something for a bum? A real bum wouldn't have such clean clothes or a clean face.. probably even a mustache too. He looks like a well treated bum.I'm not understanding the background.. Where is he? The background is too rushed for me to tell, really.. P.S. On a brighter note, the shading was very well done. >:D

Yes. This is what we experts like to call a "Bum Lite". The Bum Lite usually has a home for sleeping and storing empty bottles, but spends most of the day drinking hard stuff on a bench somewhere.P.S. Now that I think of it, I have no idea where he is either. |

Yargh, the background is super-crappy.Anyway, uhh... I wanted to take a shot at the wonderful world of designing outlandish costumes. I think I managed to rip off several existing designs subconsciously, though.

I like the colors in the background.. lime is a very nice color. More importantly, the character and his outfit looks well done, though his ear is slightly too big. If it wasn't in pink, I'd say the costume is nice.. especially in design.P.S. Uber big zipper.

I had some free time, although it is now 2:30 AM here, I still had spare time. Anyhow, she is the one who invented Cyren, as well as MANY other useful inventions on the planet of Cerulia. She's also a friend of almost all the other characters. Now, I thought I'd draw it here in Beginner, as I didn't want to repetitively post in the Intermediate. ^_^Comments are welcome!

this painter was a bit of a pain to figure out, i must say... This is my drawing to console myself over losing something i was almost done in Painter Classic... the best work I had ever done... and the cleanest lineart... *sobs* |

Another exciting presentation from the incredible life of Ponpoko! So... I tried out the PS2 EyeToy at the store today, the Kung Fu game to be precise. I did good, and when it finished, I was ready to pose for the high score picture (the thing actually takes a snapshot of you if you get a high score, now how cool is that?), but when I looked at the score list... SOMEONE ELSE ALREADY GOT A BETTER SCORE THAN ME! ;_;This was, however, a highly valuable lesson in humility. So... I tried working on my lineart. I might give it a decent coloring someday if I feel like it, but as far as I'm concerned, this picture is finished. |

Alrighty. This is something for Gothic Otaku. I noticed they had some problems with facial proportions, so i hope this wil help. You said you had it styleized, so i tried to stick with some styleized props for you. I hope that this helps.

Eh, that is true, isn't it... Hm. I should have thought of something better...Oh, right. A two handed gun and a one handed gun... Both with the same power... One just makes it somewhat easier (compared to quicker tablet). Yes. >_> I'd think it's easier to color with a mouse. Or it would be for me... But then again, I've never used a tablet...

let me be the first to say that this drawing is a horrible example of anatomical proportions, i can't even clearly read what's been scribbled around the head. what exactly are we supposed to be getting from this? if you want to learn about proportions, please find a better place to learn about them.secondly, i use a mouse. i blame everything on it, and i don't have to justify why i hate it because everyone has a different style, you can't just slam people for one reason or another about what they do or don't like to use. so suck it.

Read the rules. I find it quite annoying when i have to edit 5+ comments in a row for the same exact problem, and then find a few minutes another 5+ comments with the exact same issue. Now i realise that that person may not see the changes right away, but hopefully you will take the time to look at your Studio@2draw and go through your point history to see any comments posted by the moderators.
