I looked at the links that she had on some of the little postings that she (he?) left... then, from there, I looked at them, and followed the directions and all that jazz... so... yah... well... I had to stop working on it for business reasons.. I could of kept it hidden, but sometimes people make really cool suggestions or comment that could be inspiring. Isn't that why everyone has the opportunity to post an "unfinished" drawing??

Taori's right, love the texture with the bricks and things.I really like the light shining in there, but looking at your reference, I think the center of the beam could use some white white(as in R:255,G:255, and B:255).But good job overall^^.

Okay... yeah, that's a Pikachu... and, I bet your wondering why I wrote "Tsuki" (Japanese for moon) on the little picket sign that Pikachu is holding up... I wrote that there as a sub for drawing tips accepted here... why? Because, I'm like... not finished with the picture of the Pikachu holding the sign up! ^_^ I've still gotta write that (in English) on the picket sign that Pikachu is holding up. You may post some drawing tips here early, if you want to, that is! ^_^ But, first, look at my drawings that I have previously drew. Thanks! :D

i wanted it to be blurred. i think it looks fine blurred, but i will change the background. must take the suggestion of mods. they are waaay high and mighty( i mean that) and they are the controlers of this blessed haven. hm... acctuly, i wanted the simple bg too.now it's done...
oh, wow.
a mod told me to sharpen it up, so i did. like it now. |

Read the rules if you haven't! Poll: Do you think there should be an Expert Level board? Expert level is the next step up from advanced, where pictures have a level of finish and detail that sets them apart from the rest. Professional artists would have a hard time finding anything major to validly critisize. Drawings here would most likely be posted far and few between with 5 hours as a reasonable minimum time for this board. You would get ...

I like the gradient shading and how it looks to be embossed into the screen. The eyes look stamped in mit a pen, which is cool.

About the picture, it's very nice, very good for a beginner. The colors are good, and it looks kind of sad, although emotions are hard to portray with just an eye.
The best help I received on how to draw eyes was on one of the tutorials Mazi has posted many times...Here. The rest of her posted tutorials can be found here. *shrug* Hope that helps.
