Yay! You finished. I like the way the sky emphasized the center spire. The pic really has a spiritual feel.
emmamommalag (Jun 29, 2004)
Very nice! I like the lights here and there.
Zack (Jun 30, 2004)
This is great. One wonders what kind of society dwells in these spires.

I went ahead and marked this as finished, but i'd like to touch it up sometime later. It's pretty base but I'm still fond of it.

not really.. he drew a merman then deleted it (methinks). why did you delete pretty merman, kind sir?
that cave thing could use some enhancement, but it probably would ruin the mysterious effect of the whole piece.
Turtlebuster (Nov 5, 2003)
No, I didn't delete the merman. It was just kinda stagnating there so it was deleted. thanks for the comments though

...and so, I bid you a fond farewell. I'm making the 3000 mile move within a week from now, and I don't think I'll have enough time to visit 2draw for a while now. I also think that I won't have a working computer for an even longer while, so I guess I'll just see you when I see you. have fun checking out furyofroy's sexy furries without me! (:}\
edit: i'm moving from my home in Sacremento (close enough) to Galena Kansas to room with my friends for a while. I'll be eating ramen noodles and taco bell hot sauce packets for a very long time, no doubt.

I think that must be some newage table turtlebuster is carrying to his new home 3000 miles away.
mazi (Aug 26, 2003)

Zappo (Aug 27, 2003)

3|)|7: alrighty, i'm nearing a finishing point with this. i softened up the clouds a tad, too much in some areas, detailed the caste a little more and softened up the edges. Now I just have to go back over the clouds, think of something more interesting for the sky and clean up the foreground and castle a little

The Castle AAAHHHHH! From Monty Python's The Quest for the Holy Grail!
Merulotte (Aug 25, 2003)
Oh, wow. This looks a lot like a Painting... You are quite skilled with this applet. Err...
I forgot about the whole 1337 talk... I don't really know enough of it to speak fluently anyhow...
amuy (Sep 1, 2003)

MagusPrince (Sep 28, 2003)

nice turtle, I like snapping turtles better than regular ones, but this is really cool.

oh and no it WOULDN'T ha his stomach would burn and how the crap would anyone catch a dragon without getting burnt to ashes? and besides rydicanubus is gonna draw a turtle for you sheesh. Stop dissin the dragons, and besides that's just me. I think dragons are better than turtles and you think turtles are better than dragons, thats that. So....STOP IT!!
Turtlebuster (edited Aug 18, 2003)
you forget one important detail:
Turtles are real, dragons are not. so meh to you too. Actually, since you're not astute enough to notice this yourself, i'll have to tell you. I drew this AFTER rydi drew my turtle, but i started either before he had or before he had submitted it. either way, i didn't read his comment about it until after i submitted this.
Now then, the basic physics of a turtle catching and eating a dragon go something like this:
Turtle, with UNREAL magical powers, speed and intelligence catches the UNREAL dragon. it's like... fake. :|
Aunvi (edited Aug 19, 2003)
The only kind of dragons that are not real are the fire breathing fire kind, but Komodo dragons are real. Did I spell that right? I dunno anyway dragons are real, and will you people stop comparing dragons to turtles???? PLEASE??? I'm tired of this already. -.-
rydicanubis (edited Aug 19, 2003)
interesting discussions, 2 things:
"...i started either before SHE had or before SHE had submitted..."

and it's komodo...

not as long as they are running rampant in the thoughts and creations of children world wide. furries are stagnating art.
taori (edited Aug 15, 2003)
What about furries the way Furyofroy draws them? His furries rock out.
hannah_banana_2002 (edited Aug 15, 2003)
wow....
Turtlebuster (edited Aug 16, 2003)
Furries suck. that's all, folks. oh wait, there's more. Furries suck because, as entertaining as they can be, people are infatuated with them and draw them OVER and OVER and start to ignore anything else. That's what i meant by 'stagnating'. Comprende? As in, nothing new is slipping into the imagination, and everything is 'anime' this and 'furry' that. I'm not against furries simply for being against them... if someone drew ONLY cats and nothing else, without even a variation in styles, i'd think the same way. It's a matter of self exploration and expirementation... that, and being bored with seeing the same things over and bloody over again.

Ok, Michelle. Just a friendly reminder: Don't be shy. You can always cover up your red, tomato face with a lot of blush (irony insterted) if you have to.

Alright, i'm likeing how this is progressing. I'll try to find the reference pic so I can finish it later.
EDIT: uh.. for some reason nothing happened when i tried to make any paint command. nothing froze -- i could still add layers/visibility/select tools but nothing came out of the tools... I didn't do a whole lot, but i certainly haven't reached the size limit.
EDIT: ok... it's done, or at least as far as I care to make it done. this is not original in any way. it's a less impressive version of a painting i saw on a spammy photography website.
