Iam about to have a month off of school so I will have plenty time to improve my skills in art. I would like for some real Criticism on my over all style and skill. And I would like you to tell me what you think I can do to improve my style or skill. The comments on this alone say alot to me about the power of this piece...it's simple enough, yet detailed enough to provide multiple reactions, and personal meaning. I also enjoy the repition of the verticle lines in this along with the position of the hand. |

You know what, you do what you love and like, not what other people consider right, I think this a well done piece. If it is not an original drawing, that is fine, you changed it enough I'm sure to make it yours and to convey the message and feeling you wanted to send. We tend to beat ourselves up too much, trying to make others happy, and that is not the way to make yourself unique.
