Your getting there. If I may, from now on try putting a full color base down first instead of scribbling in like crayons, this way you can work shadows, highlights and other colors in and it'll look more... well more solid. Keep it up.

I'm not going to be harsh though I am going to tell you the good AND bad points of this.
Good is that it's cute, a button nose, nice hair and eyes and overall, I like it.
The bad points are that the lines aren't very neat or smooth and you should fix them and also make a background.
The skin is good and overall it's really good for a first drawing.

Ok, from what I see she knows form a little better. Melissa before you tell other artists what to improve, please improve yourself. This is getting annoying.

Chiru, this is a good first. You have more than enough room to clean up the lines (they are messy and take away from the piece) Just go back with the soft erasure on medium flow and shave down the lines until they're smooth. The base is there so that shouldn't be hard. Find the light source (which looks like it's coming from the right) and add the highlights on that side. Especially in the eye for sparkle. Shading under the chin, a little under the nose and slightly under where the hair falls will make this piece pop. If you don't want to do a bg then just a diffent color would make a world of difference. Keep it up, and remember to spend more time on your pieces. If your just doodling or pacticing with the tools remember, you don't have to send.

Avoid the fill tool, it leaves behind white marks that are hard to fill. Use layers. And spend more time on your pieces, if your just doodling or sketching you don't need to send. Doodles start to spam the boards and it's not considerate of the other artists. If you just want to doodle there are plenty of other sites. Read the rules if your unsure.

I'm always fussing at you to draw something, and then you did, and I... missed it?... till now, anyway. I love the way it has such a deep 3-dimensional feeling to it... almost like a freeze frame from a movie.

That shiny bulging mid-section makes my trigger finger itchy.

my neighbors got a new puggle puppy names coco- she is adorable. she's about 3 months old. A puggle is half pug, half beagle. they have wrinkly faces and curly tails, and are absolutely adorable.

Hmm, it's cute, but I don't think this is Intermediate. Keep practicing in begginers before you move to this board. Don't get me wrong, it's good. But not Intermediate. Read the rules and look at the standards to be sure.
