Looks a lot more sinister than the actual movie was. It has an ethereal quality to it.
StrawberryYamichan (Mar 25, 2005)
Ver sinister, indeed. Thats so awesome

Since this weekend, I've seen some..... "potentially good" (meaning crappy) pictures done by the same person which he or she submitted a new one every 10 or 15 min which are in the beginner's section. I know that person is still practicing and stuff but what happened to this sentence that appears before selecting an applet to draw in "remember that you don't have to submit it just because you drew it." and 10-15 min is a bit hard to put a decent amount of work to it....so is there such thing as ...

What is your favorite kind of art? Anime? Realism? Abstract? 'Cause I've noticed how different the types vary between numerous people, and was interested in you opinions. I personally like realism and......what type of art do you call Vincent Vango work is, because I adore his style. (and anime)

trying my luck with just using 1 colour, quite fun and easy to make something fairly good-looking, although the face was quite annoying. |

On most things you did a great job of drawing them, and you even added some subtle shadows in a few places that really make it seem more complete. My one complaint though is that you put that much effort into drawing everything but you cut corners on the lettering and made it flat instead of rounded with the surface of the baseball. It just looks out of place to me to see mostly proper perspective overall except for right there.
Anna (Mar 28, 2005)
Yesh. I love this because of the baseball in there. w00t for baseball :-D
Zinc (Mar 28, 2005)
yeah, I really was too lazy to do proper perspective for the lettering. way too lazy. but hey, thanks.p.s.- w00t. go wilson. go red sox.

I was there many years ago,and never forgot the color of the ocean.
Shanghai (Mar 25, 2005)
I looks a lot like a Japanese painting, very peaceful. I'd like to see more of these, and some bigger too.
davincipoppalag (Mar 25, 2005)
I love that color in the water there, Sherry. This does look like a Japanese painting
dugout (Mar 26, 2005)
Thanks for the kind words! You're right about it looking like a Japanese painting,I didn't notice it before. |

OOookay....I had the urge to do something and I came up with this. Lots o' dots. I haven't drawn here in such a long time...and all I have is this. *sigh* Hopefully I will get something with more definition out next time...
Shanghai (Feb 20, 2005)
Oddly enough this reminds me of a dessert I had in Hawaii with icecream, ginger ale, and little tapioca pellets and it was the exact same blue almost. It was pretty good. Now look what you've gone and done. You made me hungry.
MD_Anonymous (Mar 25, 2005)
Lol, sorry! XD |

Uhm.. yes. Random stuff-age. I think I drew the whole person (including the shading) on one layer-- for some strange reason. Perhaps that's why it took me so long ^^;; Oh wellz. I like how the background came out, at least X3EDIT: Woopsies-- the lighting is off (o noez, i spent so much time on drawing that sun too TT__TT) I guess i should really fix it.. |

testing the paint online ^_^
Shanghai (edited Mar 24, 2005)
May I suggest testing in the beginner's board instead? Of course since this is still unfinished I can't judge how it'll come out yet, but I'm just going on my impression of what you wrote. |

I should probably be paying attention instead of doodling in class.
Shanghai (Mar 24, 2005)
I have a hard time paying attention if I'm -not- drawing in class. Too easily distracted and too short of an attention span to dedicate it all to just the teacher and think I won't drift away after about 60 seconds.
Ty854 (Mar 24, 2005)
I don't pay attention either way. I like this.
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Mar 24, 2005)
Your subconscious mind is absorbing stuff while you doodle, so it's okay. This is probably the "artsiest" thing I've ever seen you do. I like it. |
