It has a very luminous quality to it. Reminds me of a Japanese print because of its simplicity.

this is lovely, and the colors are awesome! I love all of it, and the brightness of the sun cresting the mountain is spectacular.

I like some parts of this, like the pose you've drawn and the fact that you didn't use solid colors and tried blending them. If you decide to try lascaux instead of shi-painter then this article may help you figure out where things are.

I think you're doing well with this, the line work and shading are both very clean. I don't think the shine on the eyes need their own shading though.

A gourd is the melon like fruit of a plant. The gourd has a think, hard, water resistant skin. It was used by the ancient chinese to store water and other liquids by drying and hollowing them out. In mythology, these were used as magical vials used to store various things, from people to poisonous gas.
Kenshin (May 10, 2005)
Jah.. Whatever XD;

She's looking good so far. The upper arm seems a little long though, but otherwise looks good to me.
Hutchence (May 11, 2005)
I agree, looking at this one again.

Thanks for the input, RP.

Look, I know I said I was open for comments, but this is how I draw. I don't care if it looks "innocent".
Shanghai (edited May 8, 2005)
Okay, so what you mean is you're open for praise but nothing else? Because that's what it's sounding like. You see, you really don't get to choose whether you're open for comments or criticism or whatever. If you get them then you get them, if not then you just don't. It's the choice of whoever leaves the comment, not you.
Shmoopy (May 10, 2005)
Oh, calm down. He's an ''innocent'' 13-year old with the mind and maturity of a 5-year old. -.- But he's one cool brother. So just chill.
Zack (May 10, 2005)
Well, we can just pat him on the back then and not point out any mistakes he makes, in the drawings or what he says, because he's not old enough to handle honesty. Nothing wrong with being patronized. :P

Memoir (May 10, 2005)
Trying to repeat one of my paintings in a different format. Not the same but interesting anyway. I don't really think this is 18+, but I'll go on the safe side.

I like the peaceful looking color choices. Because it's too blurred to see any parts, even the outline of parts really, I don't think it even needs the 13+ rating on it.
hideyourface (May 10, 2005)
I think it can be rated everyone, since its only an outline of the body. Nice colours.

i agree with hideyourface, and also, i dont think this is intermediate quality. its a good start, but it doesnt look up to intermediate standards. nope.
Xodiak (May 10, 2005)
When I saw the title I thought that was chibi method3. His name is Vincent, haha! >:D

I really like the lightsaber effects.
Shanghai (May 10, 2005)
I don't think the background with the circles is really necessary. They look like you didn't have anything else to put there and just put random circles so it wouldn't be blank, and it would probably be better without them.
