Wow. I didn't think anyone could kill Sonic, but you did it. I do like the pastey, messy texture to it all. Looks like... ... fingerpaints.
Maiko (Jun 24, 2006)
JAC> oh STFU. This is an awesome picture, Sonic wasn't "killed". It's called...hrmm...different styles maybe?
Zeal (Jul 1, 2006)

It looks like one of Leonardo Davinci's sketches. Very cool and stylized.

Just a character sketch. I have a lot of characters I've made up and used in games but never actually drawn.

SYTHE (Jun 13, 2006)
Your "Dragon" style is strong but my "Cute-as-a-Button" style cannot be beaten! Really liking the eyes, great pic.
Deino (Jun 13, 2006)
Nice scketch, I like your drawings a lot. Her eyes looks intimidating, courageous and cute all at the same time.

It's a weather generating robot. I was planning on adding something like this to my city Juno, clinging to the side of a large tower like structure.

That's what I thought.
davincipoppalag (edited Jun 3, 2006)
The networks are all trying to sign him for their weathercasts.. they figure if he's the guy making the weather their reports will be closer. I do weather the old fashioned way...I look out the window. This is very original and creative, but then..you always are so that's no surprise
TaCO (Jun 4, 2006)
O.O It's not smooth and I like It!!!!!!!!
I hope you draw more like this!!!!
I like your smooth pics, but It's refreshing to see you change it up.
Sweetcell (Jun 6, 2006)
Love the sketchyness, like ink. For all we know he'll cause all the bad weather and report good.

This is a chaotic place, where blueprints are illegal and using dayschedulers is punishable with random words drawn from hats.

really though, I had no plan on what to make and this whole thing, along with the place description, is all stream of thought. Didn't stop drawing/typing to think about what I was doing for more than 3-4 seconds at any time.

-it ended up being a dragon's nest. Also, I have got to think of a better title. >_>

I keep seeing lobster claws when I first look at this. Very mystical and creative.
Deino (May 7, 2006)
Yay! You finaly finished it! It looks awesome x) Your colouring is gorgeous.
Zack (May 7, 2006)
This kind of reminds me of Frazetta. Very nice blue shadows.
solve (May 7, 2006)
Youre another one on here who has not only the creativity to think up something like this, but the ability to produce it on a canvas. Truely a wonderful thing. Your arts always (ALWAYS) a charm to see for me.

Cooler than cool. I love this robot.

I'd say a ton more, but then I'd just feel redundant.

I want to be able to paint like redpanda.

Livin in the machine world.... great pic!
thetailorsdaughter86 (Mar 9, 2008)
the soft lines are impressive when the subject matter is usually so hard and metallic. i would love to know how you go about painting something so soft. the background is just as intriguing as the subject.

This is a remake of an old drawing I sketched but never took off hidden. I like the perspective in this redesign better than the other mushroom tower I had started.

Wow, it looks like alot of fun to live there. I can just imagine bouncing from mushroom to mushroom.

Awesome as usual.

a little drawing for woah_pockster

it'll make more sense in later versions, I just thought it'd be nice to show more versions so the process can be seen.

Very pretty. The different colors you used in the smoke are beautiful
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Jan 28, 2006)
I think I saw one of those here in Texas in a grass fire recently. (jk.. :) seriously, it does look like smoke from a huge fire that's been burning for a long time... cool

Ugh, you make me SO jealous, of your imagination AND style AND skills. C:

If xiau and noremac get their own weeks, I want my own week. D:
Just joking, but it still would be pretty cool.
nekodesu (Jan 25, 2006)
So cute and pretty! X3
The soft light from the moon is really nice.
Pakasutemanshikuka (Jan 26, 2006)
:O!
I would buy this if I'd see it in some gallery! I love this and I agree with Punky 145%:ly..
Shanghai (Jan 26, 2006)
actually it will be in a gallery pretty soon, along with a portfolio of my other work. I'm going to make a website for myself and then setup a computer station in the gallery for visitors to browse my site, this and a few other things I've made here will be there.

My first thing on this board (which one day a month or two ago I suddenly noticed I had access to) XP

it's going a little slow now since at this size the brush is skipping a little and cutting corners if I draw too fast.

my wishes for this picture:

sharper turtle scales..a tapestry-like background..and some kind of scepter. he doesnt have to be grasping it, it could just be sort of floating near his hand.
Deino (Jan 1, 2006)
The colouring is great, I like the eye a lot.
SYTHE (Jan 4, 2006)
Your style is so amazing, love your work.
enjoydotcom (Aug 1, 2009)
Another wonderful artwork. What I love most are the soft colors, yet it doesn't look washed out. If you have a chance (and you do :D ) take a look at Shanghai's gallery.
