This is for 15grifficorntears for surprising me with the red panda draconip. I noticed her profile mentioned something about liking dragons and blue, so I thought I'd make this~ :3

you know, i had a dream once about a six-winged red dragon. This is really awesome, the colors give it a really ethereal feeling
SooRa (edited Feb 15, 2008)
wow, that's literally one of the nicest images I have seen in awhile when it comes to oekaki. The lines, the blending, and compostion are very smooth and well done. It flows nicely and has no hard edges. It has a dreamlike quality. ♪ I also really love how you made the color of the clouds relfective on the scales of the body. ♥

I like drawing trees because of the strength and life they represent.

This is just awesome.
davincipoppalag (Apr 26, 2005)
This has pleasing fluidity. It reminds me of those ancient whatever they are called trees in California.. I can't remember.
WhoopsieDaisy (Apr 27, 2005)
wow...i thought i commented on this already...there's something very whimsical about it...*stares*

My first advanced board posting. I first drew this on paper, and originally the third eye was going to be a jewel of some sort. Since the eyes and the jewel were going to have a similar glow I decided to make it a third eye. I hope it's acceptable.

A water nymph after a light rain.

I named her with the help of this elven naming site. Means something like Rain-Spring, if I did it right. If not then that's her name and she's keeping it either way.

I feel like it's done. I just did a few color adjustments. I had shown this to my advisor at school and he agreed that it was probably something that I've seen in the past, since it looked familiar to him too, and he thinks it may have had a strong enough impact on me that I'm now unconsciously channeling forgotten memories of it here.
no-angel (Apr 4, 2005)
I signed up just to comment on your work. :)
I love all the colors in the sky.
I also like the way the clouds look so soft and fluffy.
The soft glow from the stars is really pretty. :D

In some parts of Australia it can get so hot during the summer that crows fall from the sky dead.
