I pondered upon many backgrounds, but then I became too fustrated and lazy so I just did this....

Think of it as the first snowflake of winter or something XD... yeah, that oval-thingyish is supposed to be a snowflake

you should draw that dream you had where you were on the boat and you saw one of these swimming underneath you.
or just an underwater view of a black dragon swimming, make the water all green and murky. it would be a good study.

Love the hair, great start, though I think maybe her eye could be set a tad farther back.. or maybe be a bit smaller.. hard to tell XD either way, very nice!

I think the eye is in the right place.. just needs to be smaller. Other than that I really think that this is turning out very well^^ I'm loving the shape of the face and the hair :)
