Love the concept, ofcourse it's furry. X3. he's adorable. Just to ask, do you know how to use layers? it makes colouring among other things, so much easier. X3

well i know how, but its still somewhat confusing to me, i'll work on layering a bit later in a practice drawing. AH!!! i forgot him a tail :'[[ oh well ill finish this later XD thanksies guys ^^

We ENCOURAGE people to take time here, just look at some of the work in Showcase. Doodles are not greatly accepted or appreciated. As for the layers it's pretty much like Oekaki Shi or BBS. The bottom layer (or layer 1) is the bg and any layer added on is one over the other. You'll find layers on the left of the screen below the window that shows the steps you've taken coloring your picture. There are small icons, place your mouse over the icons and it will tell you which is which (add layer, merge layer, delete, etc.) There are a lot of great tools in Lascaux including a gradient tool (the little purple pink box in the tools section) comes in handy. And to make cleaner lineart try the airbrush on med flow/opacity making thick lines then going back with the erasure to shave it down, takes more time but the result is clean thin smooth lines. And if your a heavy blur tool user.... don't. Please think of the children ;). Nice first piece, again don't worry about taking time here, it's welcomed. Best way to improve. Its nice but Ive said this befor and now I know what Im talking about when people say theyre much better on paper. Its annoying and wanting, its pretty much like trying to make people like you for art and if youre not very good on paper well isnt that embarrassing. Practice practice practice, tons of people do amazing things with mouses and even on paper its hard to draw. Art is not the easiest of things to do well so just ask yourself if you want to make art a major part of your life and if you do practice. Now this is really cute but it looks like someone from tv, I thought it was fanart for a few minutes. Welcome to the board and again practice. Youll be amazed what you can do.

Aww, this is cute. ^_^Ooops! I accidently posted on the Intermediate. I'm sorry.Yeah, I don't think this is intermediate quality. Sorry hun. Ask one of the mods to move it, if they haven't caught it yet. Anyways, you have a nice style. :] Maybe some try shading next time, But just keep practicing~

Okay so i've been to anime conventions and love them. And so i came up with this idea! I Think it's adorable and very cute! I love it.. It's not the best i've done or anything but i love it. Cause i love what it stands for. AND i just freaking love yaoi! Please tell me what you think! :D

Well.. lots of "firsts" with this one. First time drawing here (hello everyone :3 ), first time not using line art as a base, and also first time using Lascaux, which I put horribly, horribly to shame. :[I would like to finish this, but I have no idea where to take it that wouldn't seem ridiculously bland.

I think this has lovely tone to it, actually. The white/cream is wonderfully warm, and it's a great contrast to the blue. I think that it would turn out very nicely, if you finished. |

I will let anyone who wants to as long as they have ausome art and need practice draw a dog or wolf on this collab. I know mine is horrible but...heres a goal...make yours better than mine. That won't be hard to do.
