I was in the hospital recently and on a restricted diet. Instead of flowers or magazines, my family brought me a fruit tree. It's called "Edible Arrangements". It was delicious...of course I shared with the nurses and staff. My fruit tree was quite a hit.

Those are such a fun idea. The florist a block from my house makes those. Pretty rendering of it Gloria

Sorry to hear you were in the hospital. Hope you are better now. We just had one of the fruit trees at work that one of our vendors sent us to thank us for a project we are working on. It was delicious... and such a great idea. Love the drawing, it makes me want some now.

so delicate and beautiful, just a blush on the petals, nice work Laura.
Xina54 (Mar 22, 2008)
this is just lovely but I wonder if the petal (bottom left) should be a bit sharper if its in the foreground . . .

This is my first time using the Okshi program. It is hard to get used to from the other one but I think I did an ok painting. Please feel free to comment. Right now I see I need to fix the spout a little.

The teapot is definitley in front of the lovely blue vase - did I tell you blue is my favourite colour? and the forget-me-nots really 'pop'

Just a quick start, I did one similar on sketchfu but couldn't finish because of the lag issues, wanted to try on a stable site where I could enjoy and maybe finish it this time.

Thanks Dave and Caddris.
The wallpaper will be explained in a drawing, I promise! It isn't hard to do and you may find it fun! ^0^
Shoebox (Dec 13, 2005)
I have an idea of how you did it, but I'll wait 'til the drawing.
Aboslutely stunning, looks like she's waking up from a good nights sleep. I hope to someday be able to do figures like you.
The blanket is also quite lovely.

2001: A Space Odyssey is a 1968 science fiction film that deals
with thematic elements of human evolution, technology, artificial intelligence, and extraterrestrial life,
(...and maybe it's true!)

Very nice messin. Mr. D
STARZSHINE (Mar 20, 2008)
wow david, totally missed this one with you posting on beginner. what a quaint teeny little lighthouse and a teeny tiny ship! very nice amazing the details for so small, I bet you build ships in a bottle don't you...kind of reminds me of that. very nice!
davincipoppalag (Mar 21, 2008)
I was just killin time, but I do like small detailed stuff. I have made a few ships in bottles, but mostly I've done miniature models like this one http://davincipoppalag.deviantart.com/art/Clipper-Model-37501308 I carve the hull and make the spars from shaved down toothpicks and whatever else I can find for the sails etc.

Exquisite and a very graceful drawing!
enjoydotcom (Mar 14, 2008)
I like your ballerina's, so don't take this the wrong way, I have a feeling you shouldn't automatically post on advanced. It looks a bit unfinished to me. Maybe it is your style, but the face looks a bit flat and masculin.
gerbear (Mar 14, 2008)
Wonderful job QT. *G* Love your ballet series. But have you deserted us forever????

These ballerinas have been great fun to do....I think I will move on to another subject for a bit now. Please enjoy them.
KathyH (Mar 17, 2008)
I have enjoyed looking at them, you can stay with ballerinas if you'd like, they are so lovely! But, now I'm curious to see what your next subject will be, you are so talented!
Cameo (Mar 17, 2008)
This is very lovely! I've enjoyed this subject very much! ;o)
