Damn I love drawing random Anubis heads. They show up EVERYWHERE in my assignment books.

Really.

Doggy! ooo... o_O

Loving the eye. I like the sharpness of the angles on this, very nice indeed, and the sketch-likeness ^_^

*still has a bit of trouble with finding the Add Comment link*
I remember going to a PaintChat where we all drew Anubises. (Anubii?) Jackal heads can be easy or hard, depending on how you draw them.

The lines are nice, and just sketchy enough. The way it was colored is also nice; as you never blurred it, giving it a more textured look. ^_^

Awww! *pets it* so cute!!!! The ears are cool and the fully little symbol below the eye! I like the gloweeness of the eye too. The texture on the coloring/shading looks really good. ^_^ *thumbs up* Awsome job!

i fucked the man up. :( its not going to work because we need a background......and we cant get one on there...
You any good with lacaux sketch?
its better.

Im really sorry..... :(
marcello (Aug 31, 2003)
You can shift layers in shi-painter...it's somewhat complicated, and I forget if it's possible in classic mode.
Merulotte (Sep 2, 2003)
I think it's somewhat possible, by using the Copy Tool... But you have to erase background noise, make the background transparent (Remask+Eraser) and sometimes, you need to have space to 'swap' the layers... But I am not sure if it always works.
This looks like it would turn out nice, too.

can I collab with you

Heh, cute! =3 I luv de hair and de eyes!
Merulotte (Sep 1, 2003)
Perhaps sometime, you could try "Dynamic Smooth Nearly-3D Shading," it's pretty, fun, and pretty fun.
For Solid Shading, if you'd like, you could add more shades of Darker Colors, and maybe one or two of Lighter Colors...
AznLiquidboy (Sep 1, 2003)
thx...i kno it needs a little more color but the problem is that i really dont like how it turned out u kno...so i just mess it up even mroe heh..take my angry out on that pic

Randomness. First picture I've finished in one sitting, too. ^^ Not much comment on this, other then the fact that it looks like some sort of strange and twisted version of a female Noah. o_O; Only with darker hair. And... uh, female obviously.

Very pretty. Her face (the middle/lower parts anyway) seem very flat. Which is odd since her lips, and hair and so on seem fine.
Merulotte (Sep 1, 2003)
Oh, this is very nicely done. She looks so sad... She appears to be longing for something.
The expression is by far the most noticeable feature of this picture. The feather seems to attract some attention, as well. I really like this, and good job, as well.
concannon (Sep 1, 2003)
Doood...she's so pretty. o___o Great job, Carrie. Luffly hair. And now we have Noah, and Noah II to oogle! XD And I dig the feather. *eats it*

I agree with Cello about the bottom of her face. Also, maybe her arms could use highlights? [note]: The burn tool looks a LOT better if you smudge it after. With the little water droplet tool.
mazi (Sep 1, 2003)
shes really pretty though i disapprove of your smudge tool lol smudge tools bad around lines. and they all said anything else i complained about ^

I LOOOUURVE IT!!! I really like the lack of color, but that night be because it is hard to picture it any other way.... it reminds me of newspaper.... O_o
marcello (Sep 1, 2003)
you people might like it without color, but believe me, it'll look 10x better with decent coloring.

Ok, she's colored now. ^_^ I think the skin got a bit killed. -_-;; The bg is quite plain but I really like it ^_^
Merulotte (Sep 2, 2003)
Eee. It does[/b/ look so much better with colors. It did look a bit dead, with the grey, but it looks very nice, now. The simple background makes the picture more appealing, as it doesn't distract from the subject. Great work, especially now. ^_^

awesome. ive never seen the series but wolfwood is so suave he owns me anyways <3
marcello (Sep 1, 2003)
The only thing shipainter has going for it is the pen tool, otherwise, lascaux totally owns it. (textures are overrated, but will be in lascaux, eventually)......
concannon (Sep 1, 2003)
Oooh....pretty. I've only seen one episode of Trigun.......and lo and behold, it's the one that HE! *points at Wolfwood* dies in. So that was happy.

*eats the pen tool*
Porcelain (Sep 1, 2003)
Great job, Hakkai. I love the effect that those eyes give the viewer. It's like, "Look at me!" O_O! ANYways. *Grins* On eyes, you could try lightening it up a bit near the bottom (So they stand out more. I dunno', artist technique :P). Overall, this picture is too gorgeous--TOO GORGOEUS! RAWR! Oh, and the smoke is awesome. >=D

Knockoff (Sep 1, 2003)
Nice. THe hair is neat. Nice shading. Great job.
Merulotte (Sep 1, 2003)
Great work with the "No lineart + solid shading!" The motion portrayed in this picture is easily noticeable, which is good. ^_^

Merulotte (Sep 1, 2003)
She looks like some sort of Goddess, and she could be presenting some form of spell, or enchantment. I dunno. It's nice and creative though. It'd look really nice with some dynamic shading. But it's still nice.
Gothic_Otaku (Sep 1, 2003)
O.o sorry dragon. It is nice the way it is anyways. ^_^

Nobody in Pacific? So does that mean all the parts belong to those of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans? How insulting! XD j/k
Um, it appears that you are angry...
