I cannot draw noses well consistantly...so I am practicing...but then a nose alone looked dumb so I added some more...then that looked dumb too...so I added some more face...and well..now I have to finish it.

Noses are truly hard,, I think its an interesting face in spite of the flaws

Thank you I thought it was too, I am quite partial to it actually because I think it is an improvement after the last face or so I did.

A cyclops would be cool. But, this looks good too. I like the mood and texture.

Nice work. The eye puts it off though, looks too cartoony. The tongue should really come out from about the throat and not the bottom jaw.

I've owned a lot of lizards, and that is what I am basing the tounge on. When they stick it out like that all hissy and mad it looks from the side like it is coming out near the end of the jaw. I see what you mean about the eye though, shoulda spent a little extra time there.

I used a reference photo for this one, but not completely. Got the idea and went from there.

thanks for the comments. I can do the lightning in photoshop but I just can't seem to get it on shi-painter...I miss my handy dandy smudgey tool :(

It would've looked real if not for one thing: not so much of it can touch the ground. I think usually only two or three points touch the ground, and that's intense lighnting. But, hey, what do I know? Great job, better than what I could've done.
