scary tree??
Kraisa
(May 20, 2005)
OK I really like drawing twisty trees so fun! ^__^ Maybe this one is a bit more scary?
DeadlyBlondeArcher (May 22, 2005)
This is sooooo....creative, imaginative, stylish, whimsical, I could go on and on. It's just a really good piece of art. As a matter of fact, if it were a painting I would buy it and hang it in my house. I love big old trees... sometimes I wish the ones that have been around for a hundred years or more could talk. Just think of everything they've seen. Standing on the shore by the ocean makes me feel like the person in your picture.
HunterKiller_ (May 22, 2005)
Ditto with Cindy.
laurael (May 22, 2005)
I always found trees to climb...I love trees...I wish I had one like this in my backyard. I would be on it just like that little person you have there...great shadow too.
featherstone (May 22, 2005)

I was trying out a pallat knife type look...I think I didn't do to bad...
Kraisa (edited May 18, 2005)
I've seen far worse on this board...I will try that in a little while davinci. (I thought I spelled that wrong ^__^)
Shanghai (edited May 18, 2005)
I have no doubt that this is perfectly suited to this board. The flames look a little too quickly done but the lighter feathers on the wings are great. The way they stretch out give a sense of rising.
p3ndragon (May 18, 2005)
Good job.I'm sure that if you spent more than 30 minutes, it would have been even better. My only gripe is that pixely pencilish black behind the wings, which is most noticeable on the left one. Looks a little rushed, but the effect is great. Keep it up!
Kraisa (May 19, 2005)
The pixely lines, I see that now, I think I will touch this up when I get a chance, prolly not today though, poor baby has to get shots...its gonna be a long day. OH and how I suck at fire, any way I do it it looks cartoony, any one who wants to show me how is welcome! |

I wish I could draw people
Kraisa (May 14, 2005)
I like the dodge and burn tools, and I think my coloring is nice. I just can't seem to get the shape of faces right.
sincity (May 14, 2005)
I believe you do fine at drawing people. :}
Anna (May 14, 2005)
I think I'd have to agree with Kenshin and pendragon. Dodge and Burn tools can be kinda useful for some things, if used properly. But I don't think skin tones is one of those things. In my honest opinion, it just gives skin an overall unnatural, burned, and disordered appearance.
featherstone (May 15, 2005)
I think this came out good Kraisa... :) |

Ok I hope I am doing this right. I want to save this to work on later...any way, did any one ever see that show from the late 80's/early 90's that was a modern type version of Beauty and the beast? My mom used to love that show. So that is what inspired this.can't think of anything else to do to this so I guess it is done.
emmamommalag (May 10, 2005)
Well, I suggest you stick around because I want to see more of your work.. this is great!
davincipoppalag (May 10, 2005)
I don't know how to use Shi-painter, but this picture is very very good! You MUST draw more! Wonderful!
sincity (May 11, 2005)
Wow, I have been missing alot of work on here. This is very nice. I went out as him for Halloween one year. :} |

I wanted to put some kind of subject in with the flower...I tried over and over and finally settled on this little lady bug, she really makes it look nice.
