ohhh...he does like eating eyeballs. and hes not just some freaky being that stares and stares until his stare is so fierce that your eyes pop out of your head and stick to his like a magnet, and i slowly and painfully die because once my eyes are gone it leaves a burning sensation...kinda like when you dance. do the hustle! do do do do do do...

I know moderator isn't a position to which you can apply for, that is why the topic title is not "PETITION: Make me a mod plz k thx." Recently, I have been looking at the intermediate board in disdain. I see that the level of work has dropped (my work included, too T-T). I have been thinking about how awesome it would be if I were a moderator. I would be able to kick ass in moving pictures. Sorry, I have to keep this short because I have to leave soon Anyways, to make this a little fun for me...

I think we should develop a new way to moderate everything. With all this drama about the beginner board, I really feel like it's time to take action. Make more moderators. Enforce a time limit. Do something. Please? I'm not terribly displeased with anything here, but it irks me a little bit. nice rant. i agree. copying is a fine exercise as long as you credit the original photo. using your own voice is always a greater risk--which is why it's much more fun on all sides. in the fine art world, artists who do this sort of thing always add an indicator in the title. they'll say, "after ____insert artist's name". what gets me are those "pros" in galleries who blatantly lift another artist's style and call it their own.

Hehe....you're missin' out davinci.Final Fantasy is an awesome series....well, for RPG lovers anyways.Just got to gamefaqs.com and it's usually ranked up at #1 on systems that any FF games play on.I know a lot of people here in LA that love FF stuff.It wouldn't hurt to play it once.....especially FF7.

Round brushes are very computer-y and don't always suit your style. Have you tried using shi-painter? Its textured brushes are gimmicky but the "water 2" tool might look better than lascaux's "blend" option.

yeah, sometimes the really round look of the brushes stick out too much in your pictures, but when it blends in nicely like on the nose, it looks a whole lot better. I like the quick sketchy style, but not too sketchy.
