Sometimes I impress myself. In the span of one week I have learned how to play the Sonic The Hedgehog song “Casino Night” on the piano. I listened to the piano version of the song on vgmusic.com and figured out how to play it. Perfectly, I might add. And that is why I creamed in my pants. Because it’s an awesome song, and I now know how to play it. A special thanks to the 2draw members who introduced me to vgmusic.com.Maybe if I can figure out how to hook my keyboard up to my computer I’ll make a recording of it and post it on a new picture or something. If anyone cares. Which you probably don't. Sorry moderators. Didn't think it was explicit enough to warrant an 18+ rating. But I suppose you get the final call.
spiritdweller (Nov 24, 2004)
lolll... I'd like to hear it, my son loves Sonic, maybe I'll learn it too... if I creamed my pants every time I learned a new song though... I don't think I could function very well... I like this drawing
Alex-Cooper (Nov 24, 2004)
Hey folks. I'm glad you all like it. But unfortunately, I found out tonight that my keyboard is too old, and is not compatible with my computer. So if I ever do get it recorded I'm going to have to do it over my friend’s house, in his recording studio. That will probably be in a couple of weeks, ‘cause I rarely ever see him. Oh well. And funny, spiritdweller. I'm just psyched that I’ve learned something new because I haven't played in such a long time. You can only play the same Bright Eyes songs and Radiohead songs before you get tired of them. And I wouldn't want that to happen.I agree with you Marcello. That’s what I originally rated it. I remember being thirteen and making jokes about how the football team was having anal sex with one another after a good game. So I doubt the idea of ejaculating would warp a thirteen yearolds fragile mind. But apparently someone disagrees. No big deal. It just gives me a chance to write really long winded comments under my pictures. Must remember to keep it short.

Your ardor for keyboard has inspired me to start practicing and trying to get better at reading music again. Thanks, man. Funny pic, too.The best way I've to record from keyboard to computer is via a cord from the keyboard's headphone jack to the soundcard's line-in jack. Might need a 1/4th to 1/8th mini adapter for the keyboard. If your friend has a recording studio, though, well shoot. Also, I found my songbook for Whatever and Ever Amen. I could scan some stuff in, if you want. Got my copy off eBay if you're looking for the real deal.

as a fellow musician i understand completely. when i figured out the piano version of Xenogear's 'world map" theme i felt exactly the same. it rolls along tremendously and allows for some brilliant emotion. the sonic song is cool too. i probably lack the nostalgic connection to it that u do loledit: and post your recording plz, i'd love to hear it. if i could figure out how to make my guitar studio software work, i'd be recording stuff on my own computer.. but alas... |

Hello friends! I'm sorry I wasn't around for such a while! But thank God, I'm here, right? So much to do!Please enjoy my picture. ^_^ I made a pumpkin with celery legs for all of you who are vegetarians...ahem...like myself. I think it came out quite nicely, here, here? Anyway, the picture isn't as much the point as to what I have to say... Tomorrow is Thanksgiving folks. Food, football and family galore. Very enjoyable! But let us not forget where it originated from and who it is thankful to. For those of you who are Christian (I don't mean to exclude you atheists/agnostics/Buddists and so forth), it is a time to remeber how much God has been able to provide for us and our loved ones. A time to remember the graces and mercy he's bestowed upon us all. Back in the 1600s, the Puritans took this time to fast and give thanks to God for his safety and love. On a side note, I wanted to do the same tomorrow, fast and pray and give thanks, but my body isn't able sadly. Ah well, maybe next year by the grace... Anyway, I digress. Tomorrow, some individuals are going to donate clothing and food to the poor in any organization (Goodwill? Salvation Army? you pick!) I'm hoping that I can gather all of my old clothes (my family and I) and donate them tomorrow. If you can, please do the same. There are so many needy people in our country and in countries around the world. More Christ-oriented than even Christmas, let's take the time to observe thanks and appreciation. And hug and kiss your loved ones! Please! Throw all of your arguments and disagreements aside and be thankful to see their faces! Maybe even shut off the TV (gasp! breaking tradition!) and actually talked to your brothers/sisters, neices/nephews/cousins, mom /dad /grandma/ grandpa, friends and so on that you weren't able to during the long year of business and personal matters. Open the gateway of conversation and become friends again! And, last but not least folks, as this applies to everyone, let's remember the good times and never forget the bad and always ALWAYS show love...it's the strongest thing there is! God bless, have a good Thanksgiving and Happy holidays! ~Doodlibop

Kenshin (Nov 24, 2004)
Paint BBS is nice.. but it really sucks that it only has two layers.. You should try oekaki shi-painter.. It is awesome.. I think the only thing BBS has better than oekaki shi is that it's blur tool is awesome. :D

just out of curiousity does this happen to anyone else? when you move windows (regardless of being in the applet) over shi-painter it leaves trails of outlines. drives me insane. same happens when you scroll. boo. and yeah i realize you can make it go away by zooming or hitting undo but thats still a pain.

Life Through a Wineglass It was not yet winter when I met the man himself, but the chilling breeze already bit to the bone. At least, that is what others said. I for one was never bothered by fierce cold. It was in a small diner in which I first encountered him. Curiously, it was he, not I, who was seeking the other. His name was in print and known, but I was sought. It was the way of things at that time in his life I suppose. He was in need of some sort of companion; a proverbial shou...

I just got some Prismacolor Nupastels and I was wondering if anyone here is experience with this medium. I need some tips for blending and shading. I've tried to practice with them a few times but I end up with a huge muddy color mess.
