Whoa, this is "good" work for anime. I too applaud well done execution in anime although I'm not a big fan of it. It's nice to see confidence in the piece.

I used a reference photo for this one, but not completely. Got the idea and went from there.

thanks for the comments. I can do the lightning in photoshop but I just can't seem to get it on shi-painter...I miss my handy dandy smudgey tool :(

It would've looked real if not for one thing: not so much of it can touch the ground. I think usually only two or three points touch the ground, and that's intense lighnting. But, hey, what do I know? Great job, better than what I could've done. |

I'm not finished with this yet, as you can probably tell. It's just a random character that I made up (her name is Kasumi). This is my first time drawing here, and I was just trying to see how the tools worked, ect.
